Awesome concept and i like the level of difficulty. Especially the last lvl being far harder than the other 2 like a final boss!

Great idea! As @NibbleByte said, this could be a great party game!

Definately needs more levels! (too good to leav it just to 3)

I really liked this! Taking vision away from any genre is going to result in something interesting and I think you executed this one well. I really like the use of all the different sounds to help orient the player. Good level design too, even if there were only 3. I didn't have an issue with the movement yet others have, so maybe having the first level be without the sight restriction, just so people can become familiar with the movement would be a simple fix. A next level button when you reach the goal would be nice, instead of having to go back to the main menu. Cool entry.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this feedback, I really appreciate it!

very good idea and execution it just needs to be easier way to know how far are you from the wall and it will be perfect.

you can check out my entry if you pleased it will be very nice to rate it and leave a feedback.

Very interesting take on the theme! Using the walls to move around was interesting, but like a few other people said here, it would be great to have a more accurate measurement of how far "one step" is. I was't even aware  that you could move in 8 directions insted of 4 until I read the comments. That being said, I reeeally like what you've done with the sound and how it helps conveying how far you are from the objects.

Keep up the good work!

Pretty good, but would be  better if there was some sense of distance other than the contact sound with the walls.

I like the idea and would have loved a clear distinction how far 1 step is and the possibilty to view the path I took after I was caught. Otherwise, great game!

Really good idea! I'd like to play more of that. This can be a fun game to play at parties.

A clever idea! I found it quite fun to bump on every wall to figure out where I was going. Relying on sound only is challenging, but really gratifying!

Amazing!

Thank you!

I like it! I would definitely add a few seconds of movement before the screen goes completely dark though, as it's a little ambiguous at the moment exactly how you move when in the dark. Great work on the soundscape though, they are very hard to get just right.

Well executed idea. One thing I still need to understand though. As the burglar, do we have 8 direction movements or is it only four? Also, I like the sound we make with the bin on level 2, we've got top noth burglar here :D

Developer

8 directions of movement. And that bin, that noise is actually supposed to be a raccoon digging around in the bin, not the burglar! You can see the raccoons tail out the top of the bin. I'm glad you like my game!

Gameplay: 3/4 + Aesthetic: 1/1 = 4/5 - Very interesting and exciting mechanic which was very well executed in the well designed levels. Only a 4 and not a 5 because there weren't enough levels. Amazing and charming sound design and graphics. Why are the graphics so cool for a game that you spend half of not even seeing them?! Not that that's a complaint or anything. Please make this a full fledged game, I'm begging, I shall make a shrine for this game hehe. Thanks for the experience :)

Thank you so much for your feedback, I really appreciate it! About the graphics, this was pretty much my first time making something with pixel art and I think it came out looking pretty good, better than I was expecting at least. I'm glad you like my game.

. . . Ay. Ay. Ay. Ay. Ay. Ay. . . .

Lmao I wanted some kind of sound effect for the guards other than just footsteps so I just made a random noise into a microphone and it kind of worked!

(+1)

Really well executed! it's a shame you couldn't get more levels in though.

Nice idea!

Quite difficult but it's an interesting approach to stealth games.

Kudos!

It's a good concept good but the sound cues could have been abit better allowing for more nuance in the navigation aspect

Short game, but really cool idea
