How have you used the theme "Strength Lies in Differences" in your game?
Its a card game where the hand strength is greater if you have different the cards

It's polished, but I kept getting the same point amounts pretty consistently. Maybe the number on the card could contribute to points in some way?
Either way, it was pretty fun and very well-made!
One of the more polished entries, putting this together in just a week is brilliant, well done. Was nice to get 50 points once. Considering that I won every hand I played, my ex would've loved this, beating a dumbed down AI in Heroes of Might and Magic 3 kept her entertained for years. :)
Thanks for playing! The AI just tries to discard the most negative score cards and has a random chance to discard more than one card, so its easy to win unless it gets 30+ points XD
Really simple idea and good use of the theme! I liked the card dealing animations mixed with the SFX and it was bug-free, which is rare. I feel like there wasn't much I could do as a player to influence the outcome, so perhaps several phases of discard/draw, or some change in the ruleset to allow more player agency and tactical choices would be great.
Thanks for the feedback, my initial intention was to do more phases and add more opponents to the table but I runned out of time.
This was a lot of fun, great idea. I love the style. You could probably tweak the values of cards more because I found it quite easy to win even with a hand with similar cards
Yes, theres a bit of strategy but in the end you will always do the same moves after you figure out
Good audio. Works well. Interesting once or twice on its own, but not too fun. Very much guessing and gambling rather than strategy. A human opponent might give a few Yomi layers. Would make an interesting mini game or RGP combat/resolution mechanic.
Thanks for the feedback, I really wanted to make a card game this jam and I wish I had more time to think about the mechanics and maybe add more phases and strategy.
It is really difficult to innovate in the playing-card game genre. There have been a few centuries of developers before us with some good ideas after all. It would be real interesting to see a game jam where every game was a card game just to see what diversity can still happen.
