Really original idea! There are a lot of possibilities for where you can take this. As I was jumping around, I was thinking of different hazards you could have. Like maybe the main character is like touching up old artworks, having to clean up after bugs or effects of time. Then I thought maybe this paintbrush is a forger and they're jumping around the artwork to learn its design.  By the time I finished playing, I thought of Van Gogh giving the player a thumbs-up.

I would love to explore more works of art in this fashion. Really interesting take on the task. I enjoyed this one a lot. I played on stream and left feedback throughout. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong, but I couldn't seem to get the full picture view to trigger. Awesome work.

Yeah, that is a bug that presented itself in the build, but not the editor.  I couldn't get it fixed in time for the jam, but there should be a working version playable on the project page if you'd be interested.  Thank you for the positive feedback!

I love the environment, it's such a unique location, being inside the painting.

Cool concept, I love starry night :)

If you can make a solid gameplay loop out of this I can see this being a genius game, there's nothing to do at the moment but being able to platform through public domain art is amazing.

I would really like to see future levels and gameplay, I love this concept, I think the location is super unique! I loved that the character was a paintbrush as well. I think it could be cool if you maybe added a tiny bit of animation within the paintings, like lights turning on in windows, or clouds + stars moving, e.t.c, that would bring the paintings  to life!

Good idea showing where platforms are with colour. A unique location for sure!

Really creative and beautiful game! It would be really cool and immersive with sound effects :)

I'd like to see this go through, so we can see where the gameplay goes.

I absolutely love the style of this game. the art is great and the way the platforms are colored and the the background is dark is really cool and creative

Love the way you represent platforms using colored parts of the painting, would like to see more works of art explored in this manner

Maybe one of the more unique locations so far. This game helps to give more appreciation for Starry Night. I never looked at a painting so closely before, seeing all the brush stokes so closely was interesting.

Very unique concept, definitely would want to see more. I’m sure you have some ideas of how your paint brush stroke plays a role, and I’m curious to see what that would be. I liked in a way how it was somewhat ambiguous what I could jump on, I had to get an intuitive feel, which was nice.

That is a really cool technique!  I never would've thought to use a layer mask (my assumption?) as a way to create a platformer.  Definitely going to be studying this more after the game jam and adding that to my developer toolbox.  Nice work!

I think your game is very creative and I definitely never seen anything like it. I think using a van gogh painting for the background is a great choice and love that the platforms are in different shapes
