Great game, i love the simple concept, and beautiful execution, Great Work ;)

Developer

Thanks for your kind words :)

Took a good few goes but I finally got the high score! Someone ping me if I get topped please.

Design is crisp and solid, using the switches to navigate the UI was a fun detail!

I would love to see an incentive for turning off the red laser for sure, admittedly I only got to 70 because I only needed to use two switches realistically!

Developer(+1)

Wow, my best record is 48 and it seems like you beat the developer :)

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I could only allocate 2 days to this project. I'm planning to enhance the game by adding more features and making the red switch more valuable.

Submitted(+1)

You did this in two days?! That's so good! Feel free to ping me if you do enhance it! Would love to replay with the new rules.

Developer

I will do, thanks!

Great Game! Some shortcut keys could be useful for playing it on pc :)

Developer

True and I will definitely add some shortcut keys! Thanks a lot :)

It's an OK idea, but the game feels a bit 'dated' and slow(if that's the right word)? I'd probably make it a bit more dynamic (maybe with power ups or different types of enemies)? Right now all I'm doing is flipping switches on/off, which does fit the theme, but I can't say is particularly fun or engaging in any real way. Great first pass, I'd keep at it!

Developer

Thank you! I agree, the game is needs some more elements and I will do that after the jam!

I love the creative idea and the difficulty! All I would do is polish it up and change the music. You should make an after-jam version where you polish it up and release it on Google Play Store! This seems like the sort of game where i could spend a long bus ride and never get bored! Who knows, i could make you some music!

Developer

Thanks a lot. Definitely, I will do that and feel free to contact me if you want to collaborate for future projects!

For what it is, its great! Definitely needs some juice and other tweaks, but overall, pretty nice!

Developer

Unfortunately, I had two days for making this game, if I had more time there was lots of things that I wanted to implement but I will do it after the jam! Thanks for your kind words :)

Simple yet entertaining. Good job!

Developer

Thank you! :)

This is an original and fun idea suits well with the theme. Good luck for your submission.

Developer

Thanks a lot! :)

I was fascinated by the implementation of the theme in your game, an original and fun idea for me, I really hope you win a good position.

Developer

Thanks for your kind words! :)

What a pleasant, yet challenging arcade game. Focusing on the switches is harder than it seems!

I really like the percussive sounds of the switches and creatures. Gameplay began to sound like a drum beat. It was funky stuff.

As far as I'm able to tell, there is no reason to turn the red switch off. It's below the other two, so turning on either blue or green blocks it. You can't let creatures go past the red laser anyway; just leaving it on means you only have to juggle two switches.

Anyhow, good job!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

It sounds like you've analysed the mechanics well. Indeed, if the red switch doesn't have a significant impact on gameplay and turning it off doesn't change the challenge significantly, focusing on the blue and green switches might be a more effective strategy. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I could only allocate 2 days to this project. I'm planning to enhance the game by adding more features and making the red switch more valuable.

A very nice concept! Original way to use the Jam's theme.

Developer

Thank you so much :)

I'm bad with menus, I hate making menus, your menu is very good and the game over screen is fine

Developer

Thank you for your kind opinion, currently I am trying to develop the main menu!

Lovely game, a little hard to control with mouse, (perhaps playing on a phone might be easier), also challenging.

Developer

Thank you! It is definitely much easier to play on mobile!

The game is really amazing, but there should be some kind of reward that you decide if you want to let throught, like 10 points if they’re not destroyed, because honestly you only turn the red laser on/off at the beginning of the game and that’s it…

Developer

I agree with that suggestion, and I'm currently contemplating the idea of incorporating rewards into the game. Moreover, I'm considering ways to make the red laser more impactful and useful within the gameplay.

made it to 22 and ended myself ...tried to submit a score and the game froze on me...oh well...otherwise not bad

Developer

I'm sorry to hear about the freezing issue you encountered while trying to submit your score. I appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience it caused.

Submitted (1 edit) (+2)

not a big deal...no need to apologize lol...i do not authenticate...could be that, idk...good luck with the jam

and after searching for rate‐able games...

props to you and i for making mobile friendly games

Very nice! Only things that I could think are lacking is in music and a difficulty spike, but i also didn't get that far, so maybe its just that.

Developer

I appreciate your feedback. The difficulty scales according to your score, and it becomes quite challenging at certain points. I'll certainly take your suggestion into account and work on refining the gameplay along with the music. Thank you!
