Finished the game. Swinging around is fun, I personally found level 2 harder than 3. Wished there was an electrical beam or something that more visually connects the bot to each grapple point (it's actually pretty easy to code a simple object to stretch and rotate to connect to two different objects in case you don't know), another suggestion is to make it so the player can choose to tap on individual grapple points if they are in the bot's range (and if they don't tap onto any it can just choose the closest one like it does currently). Graphics look fine but are very inconsistent (almost like there was no art style to connect the many aspects together), I also don't see much theme relevance either.

I like the electric beam idea thats good

Loved the game, although it was difficult until I got the controls down, a little tutorial would have helped !

Cool came with a fresh idea.  Little touches like the hot air balloon moving add to the feel. Good work.

Cool game! Really fun idea but very difficult! I would recommend some instructions/tutorial, and maybe some glow effect or something that shows you which grapple point it is going to grab onto! Solid entry

Fun game! Had it hooks in me for sure. I would have played a bit longer if it was more clear what was going on.  Even just a written tutorial would be nice. I seemed to always grab onto the grapple point behind me and I am not sure if I was missing something. I think it would have been cool to see the grapple between the character and the point too, it could be like a beam of electricity. Keep it up!

Cool visuals and a nifty casual idea!

Great little game with the potential to be very addictive. It took me a few tries to figure out how to get started, but once I did, it was fun. I could never get enough momentum to get past the third swing on level 3. I’d tried unsuccessfully more than a dozen times because I was eager to see what was next. Well done. :-)

Developer

You know what my issue was I ran out of time.  Had to drop the tutorial and on level 3 you have to sacrifice the coins  to  make it.   You can have both  I wish I had time to explain more but it is what it is right ty

Funny, Great work!

Very nice twist on the Bounce and Hook game (a personal favorite of mine!). I liked how you have to time the magnets so you don't attract to two at the same time and stringing together good swings and tactically landing on the platforms is a good variation as well. Took me a minute to realize what kind of game it was and what the controls were but once I did I really enjoyed it. Good work!

A very good idea and a good basis for a casual mobile game since it is one touch control. It still requires a lot of polishing. The graphics are good, although the background and other elements (robot, ramps, etc...) somehow do not fit together. Once caught the essence of the game becomes very addictive.

Developer

Would you change the background to match the assets or make the assets match the background?

Submitted

I would personally go for a cartoon style parallax background with multiple layers. Also different fonts. Again, it's your game and do as you think is best. That's just my opinion and doesn't mean I'm right.

Love the look of the character and the sound!!

But it somehow feels the same as Bounce and hook template in GDevelop. But if you made the code to be that smooth, then great job on making the swing the best I've tested.

Developer(+1)

It not a template I made it from scratch but you are correct it is my  version of bonce and hook or stickman swing or countless others etc.

Great graphics, what AI software did you use to make them?

I found the swinging to be satisfied, but sometimes the swingbot grabbed onto the wrong swing point.

Developer

Thank  you for the comment Im working on a fix for that in the final version

Fun game, and fun mechanics / gameplay. Definitely enjoyed the graphics too!

It take me a bit to understand what to do, but after that it was pretty fun! Really liked the feel of the swing.

It reminds me a lot of stickman hook! Very fun, but the in the city levels is hard to distinguish the hanging places. Nice game!

PS: That bg was made with AI, right?

Developer

Yes the bg was made with AI truth be told everything graphics wise was made with AI but then I change and update the images to be what I want them to look like.  Thanks for the ?
