Thank you. I think I focused on the narrative too much and should've focused on more particle effrcts etc :P

Hi sorry the late reply!
Thank you at much for so much feedback, it's very helpful. Regarding the music, you're absolutely right! I did plan to create a sci-fi piece myself but due to the time constraints I created something using free assets and prioritized the tension instead of the sci-fi feel but I plan to update it definitely.
I also have plans to add the keyboard. Again, just time constraints due to being a solo dev.
I wanted the reading to be part of the timer but in an update I plan to add more content and actually make the loop twice as long.
I mention a lot of plans in the recent devlog in case you want to check it out. Thanks again for your feedback.
Nice entry! Very polished and the 3d paper platforms look great, I feel like the platformer mechanics could do with a little work, I didn't get realise you could jump of walls or hang right until the end so maybe a tutorial for that would be good too but of course for a 9 day project this is amazing regardless
Really nice! Good juice too but I felt like it was a bit difficult as you have to get close to swing at them so can find yourself surrounded quite easy, maybe if you had some sort of roll/dash feature to be able to get away in those situations it would be easier. Love the music, when it dropped I felt like a bad-ass for sure
Very fun and love the fact that the mechanic was so unique as well, fits the theme perfectly. I know you can speed up the timer by shaking but for the first few levels with the constant rhythm of the bomb I felt like it would be perfect to have a track with the same bpm that could maybe progress as you go through the levels or checkpoints even
Thanks for the honest review :) that's what all this is about after all. I appreciate all your points, and you're right, I didn't get any time to tune due to the time limit, I'll be honest I only joined the Jam on the 5th day so I had to power through everything hence why I used the platformer behaviours, but I did have to modify them and I actually coded my animations and combo timers etc into these behaviours. The only thing I would fight back on is that the music isn't from asset packs, the sfx are i.e the rain sounds, the weapon swishes and female voice, but the music score was made by me in FL so I would be genuinely interested if you could let me know where you might have heard these sounds before
One of my highest rated games. Love the artwork and the voice acting. Music score was absolutely beautiful as well! I feel like the controls for sticking to walls were a bit difficult to grasp, it seemed to let me jump when I let go of the side ways button as long as the jump button was pressed, but I feel like the jump button should take precedent over the wall stick mechanic so it's easier to control and master, but I'm not too used to playing platformers to be honest. Regardless of that though this is an absolute gem of an entry!
