I really enjoyed the gameplay and the different mechanics of stealing abilities from enemies. The puzzles were very well thought out.
I felt like the squash/stretch on the sprites was unnecessary and took away from the gameboy-ness of the game. I have a feeling that they would've worked fine on their own.
The character design was very good, and I love, love your cover art!
Absolutely beautiful game. Loved the squash and stretch animation of the goat. Really, this game is really charming with its visuals and music. The only issue I really ran into was on 3-1 with the Owl, I got stuck in a loop where I would be killed mid animation of the camera scroll, and it just repeated this over and over again. It would be a coinflip as to whether or not I'd actually be able to play the level lol.
Otherwise I really enjoyed it. Cant wait to see what else you all do if this is the quality you were able to achieve with a jam!!

I got some point's to discuss about:
- the jump is very good. In a game that have plataform mechanics this is crucial.
- I have a felling that the hitbox is not very fair. Enemys barely "touch" me in a unfair distance and i die.
- Have some trouble to understand the magic/kirby action. Maybe a one more tutorial board with a enemy symbol that need to be in the ratio of "absolve" magic? Otherwise, that's can be very fun! Diferente enemy can give you a diferente magic, that can be used in some many ways!
- I liked to use the enemy as moving object and eventually, as a shield.
- When i stack up two enemy, i was unable to move the one that was in below. A think that would be interesting to able that action

Love the way you handled level design! Show the player a mechanic, let them use it a little, then challenge the player and then maybe even mix mechanics! Very good way to lean you players in to each level!
This game feels like one of those classic Gameboy puzzle platformers. With great little animations and very fun power ups. The wind one was my favorite because I loved tossing enemies around while also having a really nice double jump!
I ended up playing your game for a solid 40 mins today XD Was so committed to compleating it! But I accidently hit exit in stage 5-1 D: Not realizing that the icons were the password and maybe I should remember them a little to late I decided to call it there but I had a really great time with the game!

Wow, just w o w! I wouldn't have believed anyone if they said this was made in a week... This game is amazin, tight responsive controls, catchy soundtrack and sfx, fun puzzles and great job capturin that Gameboy Aesthetic™... Big ups to the Arara team! If I haaad to nitpick. I would say adjust the hitboxes, sometimes I hit enemies when I'm standin on a ledge and they walk into the wall below me... Enjoy your all 5 rating!
