Amazing game, I love the gameplay, with no doubt is one of my favorite entries of #gbjam

With a bit more work (and gamepad support) this could be the next Downwell.

The recoil mechanics remind me of Cave Story. Really fun, although pinning yourself to a wall makes things rather easy.

Flying by shooting and the graphical style reminded me to the lovely Cave Story <3

Moving and trying to aim at enemies at the same time is a bit frustrating to me. I feel like my brain wants an inverted controls scheme so that I control the player's movement instead of shooting direction.

One of my favorite entries. Great game feel and a joy to play! I wish it had gamepad support, though!

Ah, I've tried the pre-score version and it's always good to see developers adding things the players want :D. This is a really solid show of the game's mechanics, the controls are tight and your deaths do feel like your own causing. The only small nit I have is when you're close to the sides there's a very small window to react when a skull suddenly flies in, but other than that amazing entry !

Amazing entry! Incredibly addictive, a game that I feel mixes Luftrausers and Downwell very nicely. I loved the shooting/floating mechanics, the animations and effects, the sound and music, everything. You should really expand this concept, it totally deserves to be a full game. And you're also using Love2d (as we are)! That's very cool. Congratulations!

Lovely looking, well made game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)

It would have been perfect wWith a scoring system ;)

That's my kind of game! It feels good to play! But where is the score?????? I want that with score and combos.

Anyway, great idead and great execution. Keep up the good work.

A good gameplay oriented entry that's quick to the point. The way you move being tied to the direction you shoot at enemies is an interesting mechanic and led to a satisfying challenge. My only complaint is that, no pun intended, the movement acceleration is too low and it feels a bit sluggish.
