Nice little walk and puzz! Not being able to continue if the platform was sent on without first shooting the cube had me restarting and it took a sec to figure out the final puzzle but for the most part I was able to get it pretty quick. I would suggest changing the music loop or maybe extending it, if possible. A bit repetitive of a loop. Very solid start!

Thanks for the valuable feedback !
The cube not spawning after being destroyed is a bug. Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to release patches to the game without re uploading the entire game (None of us know how to use Butler and I don't want to risk disqualification from the Jam. Sorry :(  ). But I will update the game after the Jam is finished.
Also about the music loop, I will let the composer know and we'll see if it can be made a bit less repetitive and more interesting.

I'm not clear on the logic behind the laser puzzle. Why did I need to shrink the boxes in order to then shrink the door? I was able to walk right past the boxes so I don't know what their size was doing to impede the shrink ray.

Other than that, what there is of this game is well done! It looks good, sounds good, and has a lot of potential.

Thank you for your Feedback !
The boxes were blocking the two Laser Receivers attached to the wall. By shrinking boxes, you let the lasers fall into the receivers, causing the door to respond to the gun. I can understand now that this was not obvious. I will add some visual cues (after the voting period is over) like visible lasers and adding a bulb over the door which will glow after the boxes are not obstructing the laser receivers or something like that. If you have any suggestions, kindly share them here.

The instructions in that section, and the objects along the wall, did give some indication that was the case. So I think your idea of making the lasers visible and, thus, show how the boxes are obstructing them, would work well.

well, it was lovely concept and it gave me portal vibes like the other guy commented, the only sad part that  it was super small game, i wish it had more levels and stuff to play , was really fun gameplay , Great Job!

I liked the concept and the Portal vive it has, good job!

Developer

Thank you! Yes, this game is heavily inspired from Portal. Will add more levels after the voting is finished.

I love the yellow neon lights and also had fun solving all the puzzles!

Your game demo was very fun and intuitive. You have the beginnings of a very good puzzle type escape game.

Thanks for the great play

Developer

Thank you! The game is inspired from Portal series.
After the review period is over, I will add more puzzles to it.

Just played this short demo and I admit this game is actually really fun considering I had to restart the game for a second time just because I never knew to shrink the cube first before activating the switch in the middle section of the level.

The modeling and texturing of the objects and the level itself is really well done and cleverly fits into the Tiny World theme that your team were going for.

The music is really engaging throughout as it feels like it's an action-packed type of music.

One thing that bothered me is what I kind of said earlier, when people get stuck in the middle room, give them the option to try again so that the player isn't softlocked and have to restart the game, like I did.

I love this demo so far, and would have liked to see more challenge as oppose to just shrinking objects constantly just to get through a room.

Thank you for your review !
There are some bugs with the game which we are working on. In the middle area, another cube is supposed to spawn after the initial cube is destroyed (with the platform backtracking to its initial position) to avoid soft-locking the game.
Unfortunately, due to some internal confusion, we could only design two puzzles. I would like to expand the game and add more puzzles once the judging period is over.

Once again, thank you for trying out this short demo.
