Graphically consistent, cool music and good implementation. I had a pleasant time with it. I once did tower defense myself (“Ancient Islands”), so I was happy to play this title. A few comments:

  • The tutorial could have been more thorough - at first I didn't know how to use the towers. Which doesn't change the fact that it's a big plus that there is a tutorial.
  • From what I noticed, the waves were different every time I started the game - once it was easier, once it was harder.
  • You could have added a graphic change of towers after the upgrade.

For 10 days of work, you completed a solid project. Congratulations :)

Totally agree with your points about the tutorial and the visual indications of level, I did wanna change it but didn't have enough time. And yep the waves are random, but the system is very bare bones, so sometimes it makes just straight up unfair spawns. Apreciate the feedback, and playing my game! Thank you!

I loved the building names. I like that i also have to actively participate in the combat phase. That's a very nice twist on the classic tower defense formula!

The art is also cute!

Great work!

Very nice tower defense - the descriptions of the units were hilarious! I found it quite difficult, but that's because this kind of game isn't really my genre. Nice aesthetic, really impressive for a 10 day game!

One of the few games I've tried multiple times! I'm not usually a fan of the genre but I found this quite addictive when I got into it. I like the humour in the descriptions although agree with some other comments that it would be be eased in more gently to learn how it works and what the buildings do.

I think in a way you're disadvantaged by the fact it's a really big game jam with people playing a lot of games, as it's the kind of game that takes a while to get into, but once you've got it it's genuinely probably one of the best I've played. I'd definitely come back to this in future. Excellent work.

Yep totally agree that the descriptions should probably have been split into the actual discription and the ha-ha parts that do not intersect. Thanks for spending your time on playing and writing a comment, means a lot!

This is a really solid jam entry. I really like it. Descriptions of buildings are a little bit misleading a little bit. And it's a bit hard to point and click at buttons on to[ of them (provides double click sometimes). But overall it's 5/5. Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback and kind words!

I wanted to but I really couldn't figure it out, I had towers that seemed to do nothing, like zero wannabe. I think the game would have benefitted from less options (or even no options) at the very start so people get introduced to things one at a time.

Developer(+1)

Yep, agreed wanted to make them unlockable just didnt have time to implement it. Thanks for playing though!

A bit difficult to figure out at first, especially what each tower does. It really comes together once you get the hang of it though and feels pretty addictive.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Will try to make it easier to grasp in a patch later
