Like it. The ship looks great and the overall atmosphere is solid. I did find it tricky to tell what was dangerous at times.. The boss fights were a nice touch and added some good challenge. Sound effects were spot on and the music fit well even if it wasn't the typical arcade style. Good job overall
Flying around and shooting stuff is cool. Nicely done!
Really cool game, reckon you need to work on the movement and died to fire lots! Great entry
Excellent 3D Shoot em up. Fog and Smoke clouds had confused me at first, then it went alright. Nice combination of assets and the game looks a bit eerie dark. Keep up the good work :)
Here's my top score:
I've played quite a few games like this one, so I appreciate two things especially about your version.
1. It's not insanely difficult. While it was difficult at times to judge what might hit me, it was easy enough to avoid potential obstacles. I only died once and that was from my own failure to destroy an incoming attack.
2. It doesn't get too crazy with the camera, there was no point at which I felt disoriented. There is an over-the-top transition from the first area to the second which is the ideal place for such a thing, when there aren't any obstacles or enemies to deal with.
Along with that, the huge boss creatures were a good way to challenge the player so that it wasn't just shooting stationary targets in the allotted amount of time.
The music was nice but not necessarily what I'd expect from an arcade-y shooter game.
The sound effects were on point.
The player's ship is very impressive looking. It might take up a bit too much screen space for longer game but it's totally fine in a short game jam production.
good game, it was a bit hard to tell why I blow up at times though, but good work :D
Great game. Found myself dying a lot due to the fire, perhaps a prompt or glowing outline to show what needs shooting?
Thank you for trying my game.
You are right, I will be more careful in this aspect in the future.
Cool game! I loved the idea. I found the movement a bit weird, I spent most of the time stuck in the top left corner once I realized it, but it’s a fun game! Great work!
Thank you! Next time I will try to introduce the controls and functions of my games more gradually instead of pushing the players into the game with only written instructions like now. Thank you again for your input.
Love the game! I died a few times before realising I should fear the clouds. Really good work, mate!
Haha, yes maybe because I got used to the visual, but I didn't realize that the fireball that I was trying to create looks more like a fog/cloud. Next time I should use more reference images while creating visual elements like this. Thank you for your input.
Awesome job on the game, felt really good to play, fireballs killed me before i realized i needed to shoot it.
Thank you very much! I will try to be more careful in the future to make things more obvious and easier to get used to.
