I love this game, it's something impossible, i want more of it!
At the beginning, I wrote simple commands like "wait here", but when at the end he executed the complicated one, i was shocked! Great work! Really!
A very interesting prototype involving AI. I think that if we continue to develop the idea, then something big and cool should be born. Congratulations!
One of the best games I have seen in this gamejam! The mechanic is gorgeous, I liked it a lot. The music and the "matrix" background looked also really nice.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback. Many people have mentioned that they initially struggled to understand how to play, so I definitely need to make some changes. Perhaps I should add a few messages at the beginning to explain how to chat with the AI and suggest what to ask initially. Thank you again!
Gorgeous game with very a very impressive mechanic. I had fun interacting with the AI, what a cool idea! The AI part was well explained but I'll admit it took me awhile to figure out that the trees and bushes on my side were obstacles that I could jump over, I assumed they were background objects. This was one of the coolest submissions I've seen so far. Amazing work! (especially for only 2 days!)
The AI thing threw me for a loop at first. I was like, how do I control the bottom square. Then when it actually responded to commands, I was like whoa! This is cool. :) The title makes sense at the end. I guess I shouldn't have. lol!
Very cool concept! had fun talking to the AI, you should make a video about how you did it!
This was brilliant. Great little puzzles and it was cool to be able to give the AI directions. Definitely develop this one more! Aesthetics and music were awesome, I really loved the chill vibe. Only thing was it took me a moment to figure out how to open the AI chat window, and I would have preferred it to remain open on the side or top/bottom of the screen somewhere so I didn't have to keep opening and closing it.
Thank you for playing! Yes, the current implementation of the chatbox isn't the best. Not only is it annoying to open and close all the time, but it also covers a lot of the screen, preventing players from seeing what is happening. I'm considering adding speech bubbles later so that the text appears above the characters. Thank you for your feedback and for your kind words!
This was a pretty cool idea. I had fun giving the AI box commands. The aesthetics were so nice and the music so soothing. I really enjoyed you game. It has a lot of potential I hope you are able to continue to develop it.
I'll admit, my first try, I was going to give up. I hopped around, went to the right, took a moment to figure out how to talk to the AI (red cube now off screen), and then it wasn't much help (I believe I asked it about the red box and it didn't understand). After looking at the screenshots, it clicked that the AI is the red box, and I could tell it what to do.
I wish it could follow slightly more complex commands (the main example being, I would tell it to jump 5 times and it would only jump once, and the jump boost thing on my side would happen so fast I'd hardly have time to close the chat to react).
However, the core idea behind this game is awesome, and visually it looks beautiful. If this had been a 2-day game jam, I doubt you'd have much competition at all. Impressive, excellent job!!
This idea has a lot of potential. The visuals and sound meshed together so well. Nice work!
In just 2 days?! Holy moly!
I need to learn how to use that OpenAI API. I've been wanting to, but I keep putting it off.
This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. The idea, aesthetic, execution, choice of music, everything. Wow. Incredible work, really well done.
What an impressive concept! It’s nice to see someone use ChatGPT in the game, and you used it cleverly. The art and aesthetics really made the game feel complete, and the music and SFX are perfect as well. Good job! :D
Very interesting, that was a tremendous amount of work for just your 2 day timeframe. Liked the aesthetics a lot!
ok, so aside from the story which is pretty much absent, you're the top contender so far. At least for me. You've nailed the theme, love the aesthetic of the game, and there are plentiful mechanics too. If you've actually used chatgpt api, I'm even more impressed.
Also, you say in the description that you were constrained to 2 days. This gamejam lasted for 10 days.
I relied on this package here: https://github.com/srcnalt/OpenAI-Unity
It's a C# wrapper library designed for the OpenAI API, complete with a getting-started guide and a variety of examples.
For a more thorough understanding of the API, check OpenAI's official page: https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/chat
There, you can explore all the parameters and understand what each of them does. I hope this helps!
