This was really fun, I really liked the art style, and I loved the Grim reaper's "voice" talking the gibberish in the opening. Good music, I liked the clinking of glasses, all around enjoyable game!
Things I liked:
-Introduction with the grim reaper (right?)
-lore with the ghosts and being told to ignore what they say- adds so much depth to this game!
-Fun chill vibes that were soothing, fun, and entertaining
Things to improve:
-the random sounds on the grim reaper talking were a little crazy and became slightly annoying (not a big issue though just a little over the top)
-"New Text" is the starting text on the last screen
-what is my goal? Is there a score? Certain number of drinks? I got pretty far with all three lives then suddenly the game stopped. Not sure if I hit a goal or something, but just to let you know
Overall:
I enjoyed this thoroughly! Easy controls that I could go fast, but a good pace just to relax and enjoy the game, very well done! Keep up the great work!
Cheers for the review! HA! Yeah, I made all the sounds for the “simlish” language and a couple are definitely out there.
There is a hidden score for the player to mix a certain amount of drinks, and when you finished that there was supposed to be a different message, but I ran out of time :P, but for sure I’ll add something much more fulfilling in the next version.
I really did enjoy the game, I just hope my feedback was useful and can help you continue to grow as a developer! Thanks for submitting!
That was a lot of fun! I think it's well balanced for the amount of game you have now, but these good mechanics would be a good start to build more complicated recipes. > 2 ingredient drinks, or maybe drinks with different stages of preparation... who knows! Great job!
Cheers mate! Oh don’t worry, I’ve got tons of ideas for more complex recipes, I was thinking of doing someting rhythm-based to add some more urgency to the game.
Yeahhhh!!! Great idea!
I didn't understand at first that you had to select the glass first since there's only the one location for the glass - once I got that though it was fun! I did run into a bug where my w key just stopped working. Also the Skip button didn't seem to work for me.
Cheers! A couple of people have encountered that bug, I’ll definitely try to find and squish it.
I really liked your little game the character of death was great! I liked the "voice acting" for him. Although I do wish that the sound clips would be a little longer so that one has less changes if that makes sense? Some of the audio jumps were a little drastic especially if they can so ofte after another. The gameplay was simple but very nice! I would have liked if the ghosts did not order a new drink straight away as it felt that they did not even try what I made them :P Overall a very pleasant experience!
What a great art style and the music fits it so well. Fit the old-timey bar feel perfectly. I thought the idea of death giving you a bartending job was pretty funny and the gameplay loop was pretty fun.
Game's got style.
Very cool aesthetic. I really enjoyed the music and vibes. Great work!

Some improvement points I see are:
Overall a nice and unique submission from all games I've tested in this jam, which only lacks improvements of things that already exist (which I can understand for being solo and for a game jam). Good work! :)
Cheers mate! Visual cohesion is a definite thing to improve here, and I’ll have a look at the bug, and see if I can’t iron it out.
Lots of personality in this game! Had fun with it :)
Love the mechanic and the smooth jazz. Took me a while to figure out I needed to press space to progress the dialog at the start, and took me a couple of deaths to work out exactly what I needed to do, but still had fun. Great work!
