Thats a funky game, music and gameplay match :)
Thanks! We wanted to ensure everything felt cohesive!
For the open source category, you'll need to have a README file and License file.
Music is super funky and getting me in the vibes. Would be good to start with a tutorial level or similar rather than just reading all the instructions. Interesting take on the theme. Be great to have some sound effects when you collect the items. I wasn't sure exactly how I was "breaking" the game, ie. when the seesaw broke, it wasn't immediately clear why this was happening.
Would also be cool to have a leaderboard or similar to track progress, or maybe a high score. Great job on this game, was fun to play; I didn't get high enough for a plane or helicopter though 😅.
Very funny game, well done!
Thanks!
Great fun, music doesn't seem to be working, or is that just me? Love the concept of the game.
Thanks! Yeah we ended up running into a bug when uploading to itch where it was pretty inconsistent when the music would play. Unfortunately we discovered this too late to fix it before the deadline. We're hoping to fix this later on after the competition closes.
😄
It was so fun to discover the new things I'd find at new heights, Had so much fun playing the game. Good job!
Thanks! Yeah we wanted to make sure there was always something new to discover in each area. Make sure to check out the journal on the start screen to get a bit more information about each!
Surprisingly fun to watch the character go higher and higher!
Thanks! It's a simple concept, but we're happy with how it came out!
My favourite entry so far! The gameplay works really well (once i've figured out that i always need to be heavier than the character on the see-saw), the indicators are just the right amount of helpful without making it too easy, the sensation of speed was surprisingly good, and the range of items you could pick up kepot it fresh and fun. Add in some MSPaint and you've got yourself a banger!
First time I'm hearing the moon descibed as a tourist trap, but that's just the times we live in i guess :D
Thanks! Yeah we really wanted the game to feel intuitive enough where after playing for a bit you could generally get the feel for how to play. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed playing!
