Love the graphics <3. Sad there isn’t a MEOW button :( Camera takes a while to get used to and I’m not sure if it was a bug or not, but where the ghosts were the graphics glitched out a lot

I love being a cat! You've really created an immersive atmosphere with the art, music, lighting. It's a really cool space to walk around in.

Nice graphics! Another top point is the theme interpretation, that was great!

This game looks incredibly good! Loved the pseudo-3d pixel art style, with the excellent music it creates a great atmosphere. As others have pointed out the game feels very much "catty". I really liked it, nice job!

Others have already said but absolutely loved the art style, super inspiring. loved the atmosphere

Beautiful art style! Had a lot of fun running around. Also the game made me miss my cats whom I haven't seen for almost a year.

Super interesting and really awesome implementation of the pseudo-3d pixel art style! The rotation and perspective must have taken a really long time and it looks really cool. An excellent proof of concept for the art style and I hope you continue to develop this.

Thanks for playing the game! Yeah, the style here is pretty much what I was going for, like supercharged SNES game - the graphics were built on top of a module for a Mario Kart like game. I will keep messing with it, as it's a library I maintain (https://github.com/ericoporto/mode7), but this game itself is done as it has all I wanted to show there. :)

I have no words to describe how beautiful I found this art style. The looks and sound just fit together very well. Felt great running through the woods. Delightful experience!

Thank you so much for the compliment on the start style. I am glad you had a good experience! :)

Scratch scratch scratch. As cat I scratch all trees.

I liked the aesthetic you were going for in this game! Very exploratory, much catty.

Great submission!

Thank you! Scratching is life!

Really beautiful pixel art and interesting mechanics!! I had a lot of fun just jumping up and down :> can't wait to spend more time playing this!!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Jumping also briefly enhances the cat speed, so if you are already running and then jump you can move really fast through it.

Loving the pixel art look of the game and the overall presentation. I can tell a lot of care went into this, from nice sound design to music encompassing the whole experience :)

While playing, I did end up getting lost a few times which took away from the experience a little.

Good job!

Thank you so much for playing! Yes, a little cat has adopted me, he has a breathing problem but also moves super fast, I was watching him playing in the garden and coming back to rest by my side at the sofa and I tried to capture this feeling but flipping pov.
