Nice shooter!

I just completed it and hope that you continue to develop more levels.

Love the graphics. Good job!

Nice shooter! Graphics and music are cute and the controls responsive. Getting the twin cannons made the game a lot easier and as the pickups didn't expire I could manage the enemies easily. I'd add a tiny lifebar to the boss, but that's it. A round entry, although short. Will play more levels for sure!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I think I'll add more changes since I think the common feedback I'm getting is that it's too short.

It was a cool game. Pretty easy for that kind of shooter. I liked the graphics a lot, the enemy types were distinct and the shots looked good also. Controls are responsive and sound effects create a really nice atmosphere. Could be epic with more power ups. Fun to play!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! If you mean "power ups" as in increasing the power of the weapon such as additional bullets at different angles, I can see that. I'm glad I'm getting similar feedback which helps reinforce what I can do to improve.

Lovely pixel art and smooth gameplay! A great foundation for a cute vertical shoot’em up. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I'm glad the pixel art worked out because it was my first time doing that!

This game is so cute and fun! The controls are smooth and intuitive. I'm a big fan of the health drops and the powerup you added. The art and audio work very well for this game. The game length is perfect for a game jam game. Great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Your feedback is much appreciated! I was definitely going for the short and sweet experience. Others complained it was too short. Perhaps I could have made it increase difficulty infinitely, but I ran out of time and I wanted an ending.

You're the first to mention the audio. I'm glad it worked for someone since it's my first time creating my own music. Thanks!

Really cute and fun! I loved the little characters and their expressions. Why'd you make me shoot them?!?!

Wasn't expecting a boss but it was a nice touch. Health drops don't despawn so over the level I had a lot of health drops and when the boss showed up I just kept picking them up and it made the fight really easy. Would be nice to have more levels! Would love to see more characters drawn in this style. Hope you keep working on this game.

Developer

Thank you! That is very encouraging!

Nice game. Love the graphics. The boss sprite was great. Was a pretty short and simple game. I wish there were more variety of enemies. But overall the game was fun! Nice job.

Developer

Yeah, this game was a big learning experience for me. I wanted to make more enemies but I was losing too much time learning how to make the music and pixel art.

Thank you so much for playing!

Really nice clean graphics and easy to play. Would be cool if it was a little longer. Nice job!
