It took me a while to understand how the terrain shifts, but once I did the game became a really interesting puzzle game. I couldn't get past the levels with the little chicks though :p. 


Interesting game! Although I didn't understand the objectives of each level right away, I did find your game as an opportunity to develop new ways to puzzle making. Overall I found this an interesting experience!

So I spent some time playing the game, and I think I get the puzzle you're going for. The cause & effect of two different "realities" is a fun mechanic to play with.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get past the second level. Not because I didn't know what to do, but because I couldn't see what was going on when I switched to the second view. Textures would go black, the character would just float there not doing anything, and it didn't look like the platforms were properly correlating. (As a side note: this also made the fan on my graphic card start spinning like crazy, which almost never happens.) I'd love to play more of this if you can iron out some of the bugs! Hey pfail, thanks for your feedback. I wish you had proper graphic card to enjoy fully the game. I will make tomorrow playthrough and Twitch stream during the weekend so you can check whole experience ;)

Hm... Is there maybe a setting I can change to make it work properly? Like I said, never had this problem before regardless of system requirements.


I could quickly create options menu in the game, but because this is just a prototype I cannot implement everything at once.
You can try with full screen ALT + Enter. This is the only thing you can change for now.


Nice entry with a cool approach to doing landmass/cameras (also props for doing an unreal engine game).

My main comment is that the twin realities isn't quite clear, it seemed like the only way to view the other side was with the top-down camera (good catch with the direction arrow btw), and the primary attack wasn't consistently editing the land across each level (which of course mix it up, but I didn't see a clue or visual hint that something changed).

Ah right, there should be maybe particle around character visualizing range of parallel skill.
Although at first mechanics are hard to understand I thought that after first two levels and hints it becomes clear.
Of course primary attack is not modifying terrain if there is nothing to modify.  It only happens when there are differences between worlds!
