Loved the docu-game approach. The collisions are really annoying, there is no way to guard all 4 egg piles even with the gamepad

Very nice pixelart! I also liked the layering of the eggs.

i learned something new about frogs and tarantulas today: thank you!!!! i was unable to turn while in place or eat buggos from above/below, but overall i had a nice time! i played the web version, so no major crashes: but i'd love to see the game someday with fixes and different patterns! the colors and art were very lovely!!

thank you for sharing and awesome job on the game!!!

Nice little game, the only caveat is that not being able to turn in place when blocked, which makes the controls a little bit clunky, love the concept anyway :)

Thank you!

That locked-in-direction thing came up pretty early in development, right after getting the per-tile movement down, and I made the executive decision to call it a feature rather than a bug... ๐Ÿ˜…

If I can figure out how to fix that, that may e something else I add to a future version ๐Ÿ‘

Already I am French so I am necessarily interested in a game with a frog :p . Then the gameplay is rather repetitive, but not unpleasant, and the sprites are well done! Some display bugs on original Game Boy Dmg, but nothing bad ! Bravo, and what an end, I was afraid for my little frog :S

Thanks ๐Ÿ˜

I was wondering how it would run on DMG ๐Ÿค” I've not added anything too fancy to the GB Studio projects I've made so far, so in theory they *should* be compatible.

The display bug which affects the insect (ha, the other bug... ๐Ÿฅด) at the top left would probably show up even on GBC; I think it's just because there's more than ten sprite tiles in a row at that position - I'd been thinking I can solve that by moving the egg sac sprites up a little bit ๐Ÿ‘

Cool concept and graphics. Fun little challenge I liked it!

Nice game! I very much liked all the art, well done. And original story and theme! The gameplay itself was a bit repetitive, but I nonetheless wanted to play until the end to see what would happen. ;-)

It's a nice time killer game.
Like you already mentioned, it would be nice if the bugs wouldn't come always in the same order.

I like the ending when the big fish wants to eat the frog and the tarantula punches it :D
