this is a top down where you cast random skills. I started working on this game at 16 November of 2019. I wanted to finish it in a week and just gain experience. But I've started wasting more time on project. So now you can see some alpha (?)

Neat idea with the random spells. Are the dungeons procedurally generated? It would add to the randomness feel of the game. I teleported outside the walls and went through 5 rounds of spells before I tele'd back in. Just the luck of the RNG I guess.
Yeah teleport is a problem... Sometimes it teleports you out walls the only solution at this moment is press P and it will teleport you to the start point of level. And the levels aren't randomly generated) thank you for your review
Hi I am having trouble downloading it for Linux though it states as supported. I honestly don't know if it's on my end or yours, just wanted to report the bug __somewhere__. They're like archive errors.
hello. Thank you for reporting. It's my fault. Gonna update in 30 mins
just uploaded version for Linux. Hope this works
Good game. I like the variety and interaction of the spells. Also i like the main idea. Maybe there're a couple of bugs, like treapassing some walls in some circumstances, or spells effects on enemies sometimes are not the spected. I like to improve colliders too, because some of the wall or trap colliders are too big for the bodies that represents. Anyways, the idea it's cool and fun.
thank you. Yeah. It has problems with some skills (especially with hypno one) but we'll make it through) glad u checked
The random spells mechanic is a really cool idea :) I liked the art and tone too. Would like you see you carry this on!
Also the randomness of the spells is interesting/unique, but maybe it would be fun to add a little more choice/control in there for the user? Like maybe a mechanic where at the end of a level you get to eliminate one "card"/spell from your knowledge and boost another one (so it comes up more often)? Something so you have the ability to sculpt your character over time, eventually taming the chaos. Feels like a good narrative arc, possibly.
man! Right you are! It really sounds logic. Cuz one day he (main character) has to get control on that skillz
Wow, really loved the cutscene art/animations. Very cinematic. I like the game but like some other commenters I found it rather hectic and unforgiving...Definitely a bit of a learning curve here and you need to get familiar with the spells. Trying to choose the right spell while a ghost is chasing you down is hard! Cool concept though, and some very nice art. Look forward to seeing how this develops.
Neat game! Didn't quite understand the mana system though. Liked the random spells though. Almost like drawing a hand of cards actually - cool idea!
This is a very creative use of RNG in games. I like the mechanics of the game, it makes for a fast paced game as you try to wrangle with the spells.
Some critical points I can give:
1) The health potion spell seems to buff the monsters? I don't know what some spells will do. Some sort of description of spells may be beneficial.
2) In my opinion, I think the mana system is not necessary. As you may run into a situation where you cannot cast any spells due to insufficient mana, causing you to be a sitting duck. This will also incentivize sitting in a corner, waiting for the mana to recharge.
All in all, this is a interesting game with "tetris-like" randomness mixed with top-down spell shooter. With more polish, it has potential.
Yeah) there are some weird spells which harm you or buff monsters. You can read more in the "book". Right you are - I have to change its effect. And about mana will try to make it regenerate faster. Thank you for your critics !
It’s a little hectic and too easy to be killed too quickly. And the enemies seem almost impossible to kill unless you get lucky and get a few really good spells at the same time. But I enjoyed it enough to persevere through the struggles until I finished all 9 levels and unlocked Survival mode.
I would suggest that when you use a spell, the next available spell is automatically selected so you can just keep clicking instead of having to continuously alternate clicking the left and right mouse buttons. And if all three spells are used and there are no spells, it should just select the next spell once it becomes available.
I also felt like the view was zoomed in too much so that I didn’t have enough warning before running into enemies or their projectiles. But I understand that with the maze-like nature of the levels you wouldn’t want to give the player too much of a view. Maybe an alternative would be to slow down the speed of enemies and projectiles a little bit so the player has more time to react to them.
The overall idea of having random spells is an interesting one. With more balance I think the game could be really fun.
thank you ! I'll try to do this
really liked the arty style! nice job.
I really loved this one. Game is more satisfying, the more you play. So don't give up too fast and try to beat a few levels. Grats on a great entry !
