Excellent core concept and quality implementation. Inspired by Final Fantasy's Triple Triad maybe?
I'd only suggest you use a more gradual difficulty curve, as even the first encounter felt overly challenging. :)

Originally started for Devtober, gonna try to refine the scope and finish it up!
At first I thought this was just Triple Triad, but it was more fun and felt like it has more strategy behind it. It works great, it crashed once though when I was trying to read an ability from an enemy card when they tried to play that card. But the auto-saving made even that painless.
This was a lot of fun and the enemy AI was an excellent opponent! The amount of thought that went into each character, with each having their own special abilities and statuses was very innovative and impressive. This could easily do very well on the app store and I would love to play this on the go. Please continue developing it! :)
This was fun and I liked the visuals too. Good use of animation too in the UI.
