Post-Jam version is here. More levels, more polish, more stuff that I didn’t manage to fit in due to jam time constraint: oneir0mancer.itch.io/cold-light
I love this. The concept and the execution are both great! It somewhat reminds me of my experiences with ghost trick which is one of my favorite games so this was a blast to play through, fantastic work! I thought the visuals sound and controls all worked very nicely together this is such a neat idea would love more of this
Hi. Thanks for the feedback you gave during the gamejam. I actually took some time to work on the concept and turn it into a full game.

I love this idea! It's really cool to have the player choose the inputs for the game as you go! but I did notice that it takes a bit too long for her to jump after I pressed the key. (But i dont really know how to really work around that.. ) Otherwise a really cool idea for a game! Good Work!
It’s a tricky balance between too much input delay and too little. I designed it so that I myself feel comfortable playing, but also I thought that it would be much worse if your input would just randomly interrupt because you wasn’t quick enough to press the next button.
But yeah, the only way to really fix it is just lots and lots of playtesting.
Hi. So, I did some testing and tweaking to make the inputs more smooth (not to mention all the other polishing I did to turn it into a full game).

What a fun idea. This is really well done, I love the graphics and the short little dialogues, a little bit more story would be nice for the future. The input system is really cool, but if you are planning on expanding on this you should keep in mind, that a player might wants to change what they have set as the input. Also the puzzles should not be too tight, since the input might be a little delayed. Or you give the player the option to pause the game to give their input. Either way this is super impressive for a gamejam game. Really well done!
I was planning on giving the player the ability to reset inputs, but I had to cut it due to jam time constraint.I do want to add it in future, as well as a bunch of other ideas I discarded.
As for the puzzles, well, in some cases I wanted them to be tight to force players to look for solutions that would help them overcome input delay. But maybe I went a little too much in some places.
Hi. Well, I took some time to expand the concept, put back in a lot of stuff I discarded during gamejam, and turn it into a full game.

cute idea, i had some problem with a jump that was a bit too long and she bounced of the ledge several time, and i did not understand how to decline when she ask if the code is right. But in general it's a good game

Don't worry, a game like this will need a ton of testing and for a prototype made during a gamejam this is super impressive!

Yeah, since it is said only in the first dialog, I guess it’s easy to forget that ▲ is “yes” and ▲▲ is “no”.
Hi. I spent some time on polishing and making the game overall a better experience. Check it out here: https://oneir0mancer.itch.io/cold-light
great game ! good atmosphere and great interactive feel. I got stuck because the signal i choose for stopping was too long.
Well, now you can actually change the signals you chose (not to mention a bunch of other new stuff). https://oneir0mancer.itch.io/cold-light
My jump signal was ▲▲▲▲▲▲▲. big mistake.
Guess what, now you can actually change the signal (not to mention a bunch of other new stuff). https://oneir0mancer.itch.io/cold-light
