Graphics look rather nice and would work. This movement system however is a mess. Some more snappy movements and this will be a great randomized level dungeon game.

Nice!

That’s a nice little game on scratch! I really liked sounds, movement and graphics were quite trippy I might say.

I didn’t get that you need to hold a button to move, but it was totally fine when I figured this out. Field of view was disorienting, probably too narrow for such a game, as I ended up just moving in random directions to find a key, punching bad guys :)

But it was fun!

Really liked combat and art style, movement and punching is pretty unique compared to other entries! It's a shame the game is so short without proper gameplay loop
Still, very solid entry

I made it to the end! Very interesting game, if a bit short. I'm not super familiar with scratch but I didn't know it was capable of this type of game, so I'm impressed on that alone. The movement was a bit slow but you got used to how it handled after the first floor or so. The punching is very satisfying! Even though it's a bit silly, it just works. This is a neat game and I commend you on it. I hope you keep developing on this as it was fun for the short time it lasted!

Thanks for the play! I was in the middle of working on the 3D renderer while making the entry so it was quite a bit rushed, I do plan on hopping into a future Crawler jam when my engine's in a more complete state

The punching and combat mechanics are quite an interesting idea, and the cartoonish look gives it a different and unique touch.

Nice job!

Ahah cool! Made me think of this Fight Knight game a bit! The movement were a bit slow but everything popped!

I just promised on discord I will rate a scratch based game 5/5. So even though it doesn't implement any themes of the jam, here you go.

The combat mechanic was really fun and juicy, and the art looks amazing!

Hey!

The few levels were actually fun to play. The fighting mechanic is really great and so far unique for me to see. I would really love to play a full crawler with that mechanic. Keep up the good work and maybe actually think about having different attacks like the name Slapsquire suggests XD. Bareknuckle fighting is already great, but slapping would add another fun part to it ^^.

The movement was a bit wonky, but I loved the artstyle and it was so satisfying to beat the living s**t out of the enemies. I need more of this, with some "real" levels!

One of the most satifying fighting mechanics in the jam, coupled with one of the most weird movement mechanics!

I pick up a key, go to a lock.... Punch it. And then I'm somewhere else? So I'm not sure if that's the idea of the game, or whether I'm doing something wrong. Probably the latter!

Anyway, the game was fun to mess around with. The sound was spot on too!

Great job!

Really really liked the flat cartoon look. especially when you fight with the animation. nicely done. Keep up the great work :)

Good job! loved the atmosphere, movement was a little weird but loved the general feel

Loved the juice on this the movement sticking was a bit weird to get used to. But wasn’t bad after that, but it did match with the whole bounciness of the rest of it.

I am not completely fan of having to keep the W key pressed to walk and being unable to mash it to walk faster. However it was fun to punch the zombies and I like the cartoony, colorful graphics and the bouncing feel.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll be sure to add that feature into future iterations of my game engine
