Felt like I am on a horse in the present and a chill dwarf in the past, based on the soundtrack alone! And then I ate some rocks to restore my health o,o
Game really need some explanation of what are we trying to achieve, though (inside the game itself). Spend some time killing mobs and digging walls, but had 0 keys drop personally. Interesting way of movement with turning mid-step, though personally would love a bit less shake during the move itself and a bit faster transition. Though it wasn't too bad because of possibility to turn while moving after all.
Cool theme implementation too. Liked the change of scenery and music.
I had to stop playing before finding the second key item and I might not have the time to replay a full run before the end of the jam, sorry for that, but I really like the look of game and the use of the theme is cool enough, both tunes are cool and regaining health by breaking walls was funny.
Thanks for sharing.
Quite liked the look of this game and the instant teleport. The movement was a bit slow but I really enjoy that you could turn DURING the forward animation. If the animation are slightly sped up, I bet it could feel really awesome.
The game is quite interesting with the whole breaking wall mechanic. However, the movement is quite slow so it is hard to move around.
All the stars.
So I quickly realized that despite the "you cant click that fast" warning, spam-clicking the mouse was still the way to go.
I eventually figured out how to break stuff in the past.
I killed a lot of skeleton things.
At least there were no nipples.
Controls were a bit confusing to use, most games use AD for strafing. QE for turning, so I kept hitting the wrong keys. Also the movement combined with the mouse look made me seasick. I had to quit playing because of that after a few minutes.
Great theme incorporation, graphics and implementation was very solid. Overall a fun experience once you get the hang of it. Liked how you need to affect some things in one timeline to show in the other, like breaking down walls. Good job
Graphics, music, and movement are all great. Combats too slow and I never discovered any goals or purpose for being in the dungeon though.
It's a really bad idea to force me to use task manager to quit your game. Make ESC quit.
You really need a meter of some kind to show when you can attack again.
I like the limited mouselook
Music was a fun alternative to the brooding/depressing music in most other games so far.
