A bit rough around the edges but I liked the pixel art style. Would benefit from some sound though. Still nice entry!
I liked that it has a store and economy, and it's a solid base! Fun general graphics and sound as well.
The combat was a bit hard to get, e.g. I didn't quite get if it mattered where I attacked enemies from. If I cleared a room felt a bit random, but perhaps I didn't grasp the strategy - one enemy would hit me for 6 out of my initial 9 HP in one hit, so basically if they missed I cleared the room and otherwise I died.
The gameplay loop is solid, but the balance feels off and the perspective makes the game feel confusing as hell.
it felt a little narrow to me. good job, tho.
I thought I was stuck inside the first room, so maybe you could add some kind of a minimap?
It's simple but it works. I found it a bit hard to navigate because the wall textures. I was impressed that you managed to implement an inventory system, good job.
The presentation is rough but the gameplay loop works.
I had trouble finding my way out of the first two rooms.
Cool game! Good use of the inventory. Easy to navigate and fun to play. Good job!
