Had a lot of fun with this one! The map editor was great, I spent too long messing around with stuff :P It also took me WAY too long to realize that when people get combined, they reset to level 1. I had to decline all further loot boxes after that haha!

👆This was literally my first combination, so it was absolutely hilarious to me. Thanks for the game!

Whenever a game asks me to name a character, I revert back into 12 year old me.

Nice!

In an after-jam update, I changed it so the combined character starts at the same level as the two original characters, whichever one is the higher level.

Awesome! 😃

Really great game! I loved the map in the top corner to help you figure out where you're going. The music and sounds fit perfectly too. Love the lootbox guy.

Awesome work!

Good dungeon crawler. Funny sprite art :) especially the Pig-Troll lootbox salesman. Level editor was a nice addition!

Fun little dungeon crawler, but it crashed for me when two of my characters fused together.

Developer

Thanks! I'll investigate and fix that after the jam.

Cool. To be exact, it happened when I pressed enter to confirm the name for the new character that was created.

Thanks!

THis is great! I love it ! I played it for a whiillee and it's great! I only lost my level 7 monster to get a level 1 (not sure how that worked), besides that epic! I dig the game!

Thanks! My thinking was that if a party member dies, you need to level up a new character from level 1. You can keep the new character in the back to avoid damage. Did you try the level editor?

Submitted

Oh maybe it did die... then it's fair yeah.

No I didn't try it, I went in and though this will take a lot of time (I can get really into level editors). So I went on to play other games.

Pretty cool!  Lot's of interesting mechanics and a level editor!  Good work on this one~

Developer

Figured out how to make the web version available on the same game page instead of as a separate game page.  Note: Windows version required to save levels made in the level editor, but you can still play with the editor in the web version,

Cool game.  Gave me flashbacks of getting lost as hell in the dungeons of the early ultima games.

I had a good time with this one... took me a couple seasons to figure out what was going on.  That overly dramatic music is AMAZING!

Developer

Thanks! I can't take credit for the music. It's Kevin Macleod (Incompetech) as credited on the title screen. I did the programming and art, though. First time using a drawing tablet, and first time drawing anything more than stick figures since elementary school decades ago. It was fun to try my hand at it nevertheless!
