Really creative and original. I found the instructions overwhelming in my rush to play a whole bunch of games :-) not sure if things could be simplified to make the game more approachable?

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

I had thought I should probably simplify the controls or at least have an in game prompt for them... but just didn't have the time to get to either of those ideas.  Definitely something I'll look into in the future. Thanks for playing!

Love the attention to detail, these eyes following the cursor are pretty sweet :)  Nicely polished!

Nice work, love to see where this goes!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm definitely planning on expanding on this one.

Nice game! like the graphics and animation. Eyes are the best. good solid game

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the eyes, I had a lot of fun making that work!

Great game!  You should definitely add more to it~ Very cool concept!  The running away AI is an awesome touch, I have no idea how to code that haha.  Check out my entry if you got time, 'Puma Cat'

Thanks for playing! I have quite a few ideas to flesh out this concept. When I first started coding the run away logic for the AI I accidentally reversed it so they all started chasing me, was a pretty funny bug.

I'll be sure to check out your game too.

Fun game I like the concept and that the humans are scared from the ghost/vampire when visiable. Unfortunately no win/lose conditions yet, but dang I spent a lot of time just placing traps and killing humans it was fun! (I played the updated version).

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed playing it!

I plan to add things like vampire hunters and a wave system to add a win/lose condition. Just didn't have time in 48 hours. I am happy to hear you still spent a lot of time playing without it. Thanks!

Yep, my only gripe was no losing conditions. Having the game become a bit more difficult as it goes on would make it more and more of a challenge to keep playing! Very cool theme and I dig the art and music as well.

Interesting concept! I like how the two character present different playstyles, with the vampire being more aggressive, and the ghost being more stealthy and crafty. I'm curious to see where you take it for an end goal. The dancing was a nice touch as well.

Thanks for playing!

I have quite a few ideas to continue with this one.

Really well thought out idea with this game.

Having you control two characters as a means to horde the victims is really clever. It felt good getting the right positioning of characters and traps to maximize victim slaying! Having the ability to make one of them invisible further expanded on the hording perfectly.

The sprite work is really good as well, especially on the effects. The fire one looked good and felt good to hit. And seeing the victims lay on the floor was

I found chasing people down with the guy made it too easy, so I think making the people move faster than the vampires would further encourage thought out hording. Multiple spawn areas could be interesting too.

Great game! The ideas were well designed and satisfying to take advantage of.

Thanks so much for playing! Also thanks for such a thorough breakdown!

Good thoughts on making the people move faster, it is rather easy to chase them down as is. I would like to explore the idea of more spawn points (and different levels etc...) if I can take the time to expand on this idea. I had a lot of ideas floating around but had to reign it in to get done in time for the jam!

Thanks again for playing and your kind words!
