This is best games in days I played. Character is awesome, controls are amazing, because, some may think after walljump you need to change direction, but after this thing is always behind you, it would slow most of players down, but you left it like it is suposed to be, in this kind of game, and I salute you. I beat your game, 4-5 levels after that I got black screen, I guess it is end. And I just can say: Amazing job!

After 4-5 levels you are at the end, but normally there is not only a black screen. You should het a "thanks screen"

Fun, and a really tough game. I couldn't finish it. For how punishing the difficulty is, the start up animation takes a while - I spent more time Reading READY, GO than running from the monster!

Interesting sidescrolling platformer
Pros, decent art and music, cool concept with monster following your exact path, levels are well put together
Cons: movement is pretty janky and a tad hard to control for how fast and precise you have to be, there's no death condition for falling off the map which I find particularly strange since there's death conditions for the spikes, maybe you just forgot to add it? I also would have liked to see more sound design.
Overall cool little platformer, gives me endless runner vibes even though it's not one lol

Yes, you are right, I missed to add death condition when you fall at certain places. Will be fixed in next update :)
And I will try to rework the control. there is some cases where the wall jump is not working correctly.

feels very fluid to play, thats always appreciated from a platformer, i like how the wall jump was implemented, it felt intuitive and the game looks consistent, well done!

This game is pretty hard! I like the idea of this as a difficult platformer, very unforgiving but for the right audience they would probably really enjoy something like this. My only complaint is I thought the wall jump felt a little weird at times but aside from that I enjoyed my time with it

I'm thinking on some mechanics to block/slow down the shadow for a little time.
I'll be honest, I didn't make it very far before the shadow caught up to me! He's so fast... But it's very fun and exciting that way, feeling like you can't make even a single misstep. Good job!
