Wonderful game! On my initial attempt, I quickly lost control of my red character and tried to play with an upside-down aim xD. On the second, I improved my hunting weapon into an uber-mega-auto shotgun without even realising it, and I unintentionally won the previous battle. Would you be intrested in rating or playing my game? It would really help me out, but dont worry if you dont want to, its completely up to you :)

Good concept, hard at first but once it clicks its very satisfying.

Really cool game! I think you've got a really interesting game mechanic that works really well in the game. I think you're right that its a bit buggy (my game is the same so I totally get it), but once you've patched those I think you have a game that could scale really well. I was a little confused at how the reload and picking up ammo worked but maybe that's something I could have figured out if I played a little longer. Maybe a different sound for reloading so you know it was successful straight away? Great job!

That’s a really cool idea! The controls were a bit tricky at first. But when i figured it out it was so much fun!
Art is awesome

very very cool. This game has actually tickled a childhood enjoyment I got from watching movies where people shoot together back to back

Very nice game

great art and idea of how to use 2 characters! I liked the atmosphere of the game.

Felt like Death Road to Canada with a twist :D

It's SO HARD to aim with the back character though, and I ended up using only one of them, until he died and I was stuck with inverted aiming xD

Still cool though, congrats!

Cool mechanic, but very hard to master

Fun game! I had a little bit of a hard time using the crosshair backwards, but overall had fun! I liked the art a lot, especially the hellhound!

Pretty cool one Congrats on submitting! All the best.

Very fun game! On the first try I've lost my red character very soon and was trying to play with inverted aim xD. On the second I've upgraded my hunting rifle into uber-mega-auto-shotgun and accidentally won the last fight without even realising what is going on.

Music is a bit repetetive and sound effects are ok, but all the other stuff is great

Developer(+1)

yep, the hunting rifle is super broken don't tell anyone... Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

A very nice and different approach on the theme and gameplay is also great. Great work 👌

Check my game too😇

Really neat idea! Using the backwards facing friend felt a little awkward sometimes, but it was really cool using him to handle zombies coming around a corner while using a shotgun on a larger wave coming from behind!

Main note for me would be more audio feedback for guns/getting hit. The first time I played I didn't notice I had lost one of the two characters or even where the health was

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I've added some audio and graphics for when the player gets damaged to the next release, though obviously that won't come until the jam is over.

I really enjoyed trying it out ! :)

This may need a little bit of balancing, because if you  give all of the upgrades to the same buddy, it can get really op really quick ! x)

Lots of fun anyways, you should be proud :)

I really like the idea, I think it's really unique! didn't really see anything like it in the jam, but actually using the other gun was kinda difficult, yet it did lend to interesting gameplay, like how you could combo two weapon types by giving them to the two players.

Still had a lot of fun trying this one out, good job!

Developer

Thanks! I think for further development I would give the second guy maybe 10-20° of auto aim so it's not so tough to kill two enemies at the same time. Glad you enjoyed it!

I tried the game and thought it was a good idea, but a bit too tricky, and I didn't really understand what half the things I picked up was good for. But for some strange reason I kept thinking "just one more time". And finally, i "cracked it" - what things did, how to play more efficiently and in the end I loved it! So a bit of a learning curve, but then really good! The mechanics are cool and the different weapons and upgrades rewarding. A bit more hand-holding in the beginning whould have helped me, but either way it ended up being one of my favourite games so far! Great work!! The sound effects giving some warning when different enemies approach was a good thing!

Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it and kept at it! Your feedback is much appreciated also, this is my first game jam so I have a lot to learn.

Really cool game, it is a little hard to switch the characters at first. But it is a fun game!
