How does you game fit the theme?
The game plays in your dreams; you have to escape from the dream and wake up again.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
The rain effect was made by Digital Ruby, who uploaded his asset on the asset store (RainMaker). Everything else, including the music, was made by me.

The minimalistic style and the music went along pretty well, sometimes the character movement can feel a little weird but that doesn't take away from the game's fun, great job!

SUPERB! A perfect example what can be achieved with minimal graphics and time when you focus on polish and substance. Bravo! I've included this game in my upcoming youtube video.

Thank you! <3

One of the better entries I have tried so far. Really shows what you can do with minimalism as long as you use music and environment well.

A game that can turn people into masochism lol.

Simple but felt nice to play. Lovely graphics.

Really liked it. Keep up the good work. :)

Loved the art style, I got really desperate when that big red thing started to came down haha.

  • Yep, I noticed that it's blurry too :/
I suggest that this is due to transform.Translate being used, although rigidbody.Move or velocity broke my jumping mechanic completely.
  • I did set the -Y value to 25-ish. That was the maximum I could get before my colliders started glitching one I hit them.
  • You're not getting too old! I shot a raycast from the center of the character downwards. If the center of your character is not on the surface, you won't be able to jump. That was my mistake and I will mark this for later games :)
  • Thanks for the tip!
  • Hehe ;)
  • You have to go back down, get past all the obstacles quickly and jump into the open hole. ;)
SPOILER FOR OTHERS: The "voice" becomes an antagonist.

Thanks for that great feedback, this really imroves my future games in a positive way :D

I will develop a version of the game that does not have those stupid mistakes! :)

Cute platformer, But overall petty basic, I would have liked to see an interesting game mechanic to play around with.

Good job!

cute character! simple and effective. gameplay was fun. the intro was long which was fine once but it did it again at the start after dying. but overall had a lot of fun good job!

I like how simple your look is. It is fitting to the gameplay and the world you created.

It would have been nice to have a beginner area first where you can't die and get a small tutorial as well.

The sounds were good and I liked the music, but the sound you play, whenever the text appears is a bit annoying since it repeats itself a lot and is quite high pitch.

Keep up the good work :)

PS: I would love to get a rating as well ;)

Thanks! The high pitch was the original sound file. I lowered the pitch in my standalone build using the audio mixer, but WebGL seems to bypass everything coming from the mixer, thus playing the high pitched sounds. The standalone build just sounds much nicer. Glad you liked it though :)

Oh this is awful :D

I will be playing the downloadable version as well then.

Minimalistic yet super polished game, I love it!

The visuals are really cool! You managed to create a nice atmosphere with your music/dim light/simple shapes!

You could maybe make the dialogue skippable at the start. If you die to the red string in the first level, you have to hear the whole dialogue again.

Also, you could make a cool inAnimation for the dialogue text, but that may be a bit too much for a 1 Week Jam :)

Anyways, good job! One of the best games I played for now (from this Jam) :)

minimalistic graphics has always a special place in my heart, and partnered with cinematic audios, really slick move, nice job!

I liked the atmosphere and sudden twist on the story, camera moving and changing music is really well done. It's kinda short and descending segment could have a checkpoint at the start though, but nice work!

I think I got tranced by game. That was beautiful. I'd like to see more story about game in the future if you have plan for development.

Nice game. I didnt expect the twist. Feedback: Dying in the first level makes the player relisten to the unskippable dialogue, which is a bit much in my opinion. Anyway great job, and nice Audio work!

Very funny game, i really liked the ending, the audio was really impressive

Great work

Hey !

Nice game you have done there ! I can feel this void ambiance making the game more interesting and clean.

But when you die you have to hear all from the begining the intro, very long.

Well done making this game in 7 days ! Try mine please !
