How does you game fit the theme?
It is based around optical illusions and impossible geometry, which isn't possible in the real world.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I used an open-source project made by "Mix and Jam" for the movement system, everything else was created during the jam.

Awesome game. Goes without saying...wish it was longer...ok so I guess I had to say it. :)

Monument Valley vibes :) Loved the transitions in the first puzzle, nice execution overall. I liked the interaction with the man and the water. It would be great to be able to click into the door to see where it leads to. Nice job!

Monument Valley? It's impressive that you could make it look exactly like the game in seven days! Very impressive! Had so much fun :)

Really well crafted game, amazing job! I like the simplicity of the colour palette and overall style.

My first reaction was "Ohh, monument valley clone". Maybe give the player character a different style altogether. Not sure if there's something of a lore with the bird and M.C. Escher but making everything possible to differentiate from monument valley would play in your favour.

I also wished the interaction prompts were more prominent/easy to use. I couldn't see the water wheel prompt. Felt like you had to be pixel perfect positioned for it to appear.

Cheers!

Thank you! I made the main character a white bird was an homage to M.C Escher's Painting "Day and Night", Other than that the main idea was making M.C Escher's famous painting actually playable! I tough it would be super cool to have actual interaction with these weird and wonderful worlds he invented!

but yeah, now when I look at it, it really is quite indistinguishable from Princess Ida from Monument Valley, if I had more time I would have made it much more visually different.

Thank you!

Bravo it's great especially in one week!Being a lover of Monument Valley and long before that of Escher and the sacred and impossible geometry, inevitably I liked your game! ;)  <3

A regret not to have been more detached in the LD and for the main character but it really makes me want to see the sequel!

Small remarks:
- It's a little disappointing that you didn't indicate that the R key restarts the level
- The level (cycle) is a bit frustrating because we expect to have an incredible puzzle (and hard because we don't find it as easily as before) and finally we just have to go down. So there is no puzzle :'(

Anyway : Once again bravo! It's great!

Thanks, i did have bigger plans for the "cycle" level, but sadly the time limit crept in, and i still had like a million bugs to fix.

I planed to have a looping envoirment that changes and gets more abstract the more you pass through it, a bit like the original "cycle" painting by M. C Escher.

Glad you still enjoyed it.

Awesome game! It reminded me a lot of Monument Valley!

Major monument valley vibes! I really liked the presentation, graphics and audio worked together especially nicely with the sliding stones and accompanying sound effects. I encountered some unexpected behavior where the camera flipped "inside-out" causing everything to appear upside down and backwards, but other than that bug this is a very polished experience. Nice work!!

the art style is beautiful, love the character ~ Love the concept but i also encounter some problem with the camera :c

Wow...i am amazed. This grafics in combination with the concept are really cool. I am wondering how you could create these mechanics and that beautiful art style. Really good entry on that jam, but I also recognize some bugs and thinks that I don't understand: In Level 1 the camera zoomed in and out and I got stuck on the way to the exit multiple times. Also I could'nt really complete Level 2, because I did not know where to go and what to do with the bowl of water...

Love the concept and similar visual style to that of Monument Valley!

Cute game and very inspired puzzle design!

I encountered a bug at the first puzzle where you talk to the person. When you keep pressing E the camera keeps zooming in and inverts, breaking the game essentially.

The dialogues are a bit slow and the game crashed once but it's a beautiful concept and art style, good job!

This was a good game! It's been a while since I've seen something quite this style! Obviously it's pretty heavily inspired by Monument Valley, but that's not a bad thing in the slightest! Good job dude!
