Great visuals and interior design. The game does a great job of establishing tension.

I think some background music or ambient noise would have added a lot to the atmosphere.

Mouse sensitivity was a little low. Would have been nice if that was adjustable.

Wasn't able to get past the third night. I think there were enemies I couldn't see through the sword, because sometimes a ghost would just get me out of nowhere. Sometimes I would hit something after hearing a noise, but I never heard anything the times I died. There was definitely something I wasn't understanding.

If the mouse was a little faster, the game would be perfect.
Super cool. I'm just glad that the enemies do not move :D

I really enjoyed the mechanic with looking through the sword to localize your enemies! It was quite a lot of fun to play. Maybe you could include a way to regulate the mouse sensitivity because it was a bit hard to manage, but in the end your game is very enjoyable. Keep up the good work!

I absolutely loved the fantastic effects of this game.
The shader / however you did when looking through the sword was fantastic. Nice work!

Could you please rate my game too? Trying to get some more votes so I know what to change next time :D

Wooow. Very cool game. It is scary and the atmosphere is very creepy. I love it.

The atmosphere of this game. Like WOW I got literal chills! And the tension of either being able to look or being able to damage the ghosts is just [chef's kiss]

Also love the *very* open ending like damn- hope that child will be well in the future haha..ha...

anyways 10/10 game

Oh wow- I would actually just straight up play a game like this! The option to see through your weapon or attack is very innovative! There was a level of tension to the gameplay too that I wasn't initially expected. The home setting felt very lived in, and the characters throughout were interesting too. A lot of storytelling was done with little words and I loved that. I will say the audio levels were odd tho- the sfx were much louder than the ambient bgm (tho if you're going for scary/suspense that's a plus!)

Incredible game!! I loved this take on the theme. It was spooky yet had that childlike charm to it. Great work, keep it up!

First of all, you should say somewhere that there are no jumpscare in this game, I nearly quit early because I was scared you put some in, until I saw a comment saying that there were not ^^.

Now, that was INCREDIBLE. A truly amazing game ! It was original, controls were on point, I love the idea of looking through the blade, it fits the theme perfectly, the atmosphere was spooky, the house is small enough to not be frustrated, but big enough to enjoy visiting... Everything was polished and perfect, with a quality that is above all expectations for a 7 days jam.

That was an incredible experience. Thank you a lot for this game, and congratulations to everybody involved. You are really talented !

I like the idea behind the core gameplay and it was well executed, nothing really felt out of place. Bonus points for no jumpscares :)

To further strengthen the atmosphere, some background music  and possible some voiceover could really take it to the next league.

Thank you a lot for saying there were no jumpscares, I nearly quit because I thought it was that kind of game, and I would have missed an incredible experience =)

What a cool idea! One of the more original mechanics I've seen in the jam!

I ain't afraid of no ghost swords. Really great name and the best presentation of looking for ghosts in a game I've ever seen. really great concept and execution.

Really nice game! You should add music!

This actually sent a small shiver down my spine when I looked through the sword only to see the shadow right in front of me.  Such a unique concept and I loved the idea of looking through the sword. Super cool game, good job!

Using the sword as a tool to see the other dimension was a really good idea. The shadow guys were creepy and dialogue good too.  Our game Shadow Stepper is similar to this game but we used goggles to switch between the two dimensions

Loved the idea, very original!

Binding the sensitivity to scroll was an odd choice though.

Really enjoyed the mechanic and use of the theme! art is nice and clean as well! the mouse movement felt very slow for me in the browser version. I had to move back and forth a few times.

Really like the looking through the sword mechanic, never seen anything like it. Nice work!
