How does you game fit the theme?
The theme is met as it is not a real game; it is gamified biomedical text annotation. Hopefully you still have a bit of fun whilst contributing to cancer research.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code was my own except for NLP package from https://github.com/voxell-tech/UnityNLP
All the assets were made by me except for some sound-effects.
Music was made by my brother.

I liked the idea to generate engagement and data. Well done! But the tutorial is waaaaay to long! I confess i gave up because i couldn’t skip it after i understand what to do.
I really enjoyed the tutorial and was preparing myself for a very creative and fun "game." I ended up being disappointed that it turned into a legit survey, but I stuck it out for a little bit and still found it pretty interesting. If you wanted to expand the mechanics into a full-fledged actual "game," I think it would be killer. Nicely done.
Thanks for some great feedback! Hopefully if a “game” like this ever took off it would be more of a life saver than a killer haha. Really appreciate you sticking with it!
very interesting concept
The tutorial was really good. Interesting use of a game but it took a lot of reading and annotating to get to the actual game. If the text to annotate were in smaller chunks could see you gathering more annotation data.
Thanks for sticking with it! Really appreciate the feedback
The tower defense part was really fun... oh wait.
I'm kind of curious about the text highlighting mechanic... I don't imagine every word is a separate object?
You mean the implementation of the highlighting? It uses text mesh pro, they have an example class for highlighting clicked words:
Thanks for playing!I could not finish your game, due to English not being my native language. Also, I barely know any medical terms for diseases :(
Nice tutorial tho, had fun going through that!
Thanks for giving it a go anyways!
Cool concept but it's a little confusing and gets stale after a short while.
A little confusing, but nice idea :)
