In what way does your game fit the theme?
whacking this many moles is considered to be quite chaotic, in my opinion
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
yes, besides the fonts and two open source assets (dust particle and camera shake code)

10/10! Amazing audio and graphics! Really chaotic and fun. Also, the controls are very innovative and fun. They got me mashing all over my keyboard. I can see myself playing this during my childhood and it being one of my favorite games. Great job!
Good game,
The controls are not the best
Fun, unique, chaotic and AWESOME. I really loved the typing mechanism of the game. Definitely it was easy for JKL, then meh for 789, then woah for FGH and then pure havoc for the rest. I was running my fingers all over the keyboard (a better way to say I was just mashing buttons).
I loved the way the game starts, making the user type the letters, it eased me into the game and didn't even need of a tutorial. Sure you could right a few lines of what to do but that would be rather boring, this was executed way better.
If I am to nitpick something is I wish there was maybe an "Easy mode" where the guide letters will stay on the screen that way I will only need to find the appropriate key, for now I had to somewhat guess and then find the key (involved some trial and error), but the current approach fit the theme, so it works as well.
Overall really fun game and a solid entry for the jam.
great over all and it felt very polished
I really liked the game, it felt very polished :) I definitely smashed my keyboard randomly by the time the 8, 9, 0 came out xD A cool take on the theme, well done!
Thanks!
Whoa... That was chaos... I ended up just hacking a-lotta keys on my keyboard after third set of keys appeared! =D
Fun game, great animations / art... Good game for practising 10 finger typing on a keyboard. ;) But in that case the letters should visible for longer. Or maybe there could be a powerup that shows all the letters for 10 seconds or so.
Thanks for playing! We thought that not having the letters be there would make it less visually obstructing and also more chaotic as you lose your place on the keyboard. But also the hammer goes to when you click so you can kinda navigate from there. Glad it was chaotic though :)
It was really fun but I think I would have prefered just using my mouse. It was really difficult for me after it went past the first section due to the keynames being removed from the holes.
I do love the art and the different mole types, it was really creative.
Great job!
If you have another person and a controller available to plugin please check out my game!
Thanks! We decided to use the keyboard to add on to the chaos, although yes mouse would also be chaotic, and we were thinking about also being able to use the mouse, but when more and more come then people would just prefer to use the keyboard anyway, so mouse would be redundant.
wow, I guess it is the most unique type of game in this jam. Really enjoyed the typing theme, although I wasnt able to score that much. :(
I'd love you to have a look at mine. Its unique platformer and top-down blending. This is my first jam BTW. Please check the gameplay, I bet you will love the challenge when you play by yourself.

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed the game.
Unfortunately I'm on a mac so I can't play your game :(
the game looks fun though.
I'll appreciate if you rate my game based on the gameplay and play the game later on windows :)
Gameplay:
The mallet animation was satisfying. I like how you did the progression felt ok at first then I realized what was happening as more plots opened up. oh nooooooo.
Well done.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad that you thought the progression was fine, it took a while to tweak it as we wanted it to be easy at first so that everyone can play but it gets harder so that it is still super chaotic for better players.
When I see press "jklm,." I thought I can use my two hands to handle 6 buttons.
Then you give me "fghvbn". Okay two hands for 12 holes, still fine.
But "789uio"? "456rty"? And even "123qwe"?!
I smashed the keyboard... You owe me a new keyboard.
Definitely fits the theme! Great job! Deserve more ratings!
Haha. Thanks for playing! We had the idea of adding more and more 'sets of holes' on the first day because we thought it would be chaotic, and it sure did, but with the simpler and easier versions it would be more playable for beginners or people worse at typing. Glad you liked it!
Hey! Played and rated. Simple but fun. I can see this being a great typing practice game. Well done for completing the jam.
Thanks for playing and rating! At first we didn't want it to be a typing game, and more of a spacial awareness game, but after playing a few games I realised that it was easier to play it like typing gibberish, which sort of made it easier for me because I type for fun anyway.
I scored 430 points from 3rd attempt and I consider this as a good result lol
Very nice game for those who imagine themselves keyboard-masters. When holes 4-5-6 appeared I was playing like on piano! By the way, holes 7-8-9 are printed as 8-9-0 but they are 7-8-9 actually.
I also like the responsibility of hammer. You can simply chaotically press keybuttons and the hammer will do the job. Not too long though, developers took care of it by placing bombs.
I like cute art, I like sounds. Very good job guys!
430 is pretty good for 3rd attempt! I know some people who were stuck under 200, but also there's this one person that got 6k 2nd attempt somehow. We found the 8-9-0 visual bug after the upload, so it's not there, but there's an updated version with a few minor bug fixes, including this one. Our hope for the hammer was that since the hammer will always go to where you're clicking, you would know where you're clicking and adjust from there, although still hard and that makes it chaotic, but still hopefully fun to play. Thanks for playing!
got 1000+ points but smashed my keyboard :)
Holy moles they're ugly, that's really an incentive to whack 'em all.
Jokes aside, good concept but it's too hard to actually play without having some visual guidance on what you have to press, the easiest way to play I found is just pressing the whole corresponding area and hope to get everything right.
Thanks for playing! We added a little bit of visual guidance at the beginning, but after the letters disappear it does indeed get harder to find, and we thought that that would make it more chaotic, also that having letters there always would be visually annoying. After playing a few games it would be easier to get used to the keys.
Wow! This is awesome! Every element is really well done: audio, gameplay, visuals. I think the only small complaint I have is that it's hard to know which keys correspond to which holes once most of the keyboard is in use. Otherwise, this is a very impressive entry!
Thanks for your feedback! We had a lot of conversations about that exact issue, and ultimately arrived at this outcome where we would show the letters the first time you hit it, then the letter would disappear. We chose to do this since we thought it would be more chaotic, but we will keep in mind your's and everyone else's' feedback!
Whoooaa sick game! At first I thought this is a normal whack-a-mole game, until I have to type 'moles' that's a good presentation of the game. Various moles keep me entertain very well and also great visual!
Also I would love to have your feedback and rating on my game, Chaos Variants!

Fun game!
It definitely fits the theme well and had a nice atmosphere with the graphics / sound!
I appreciate your time!
