You can lose HP when you go in an area with enough pressure to damage you, the amount of pressure you can withstand is determined by your (hidden) level. Gathering 10 fishes will make you level up so you probably went to level 2 before going deep enough.

We had some goals in mind but due to time constraints we could really implement them, I'm planning to do an update after the jam to fix some stuff and add something.

You basically level up after gettin 10 fishes then can resist the second level of pressure, we were planning to add more levels but time ran out. You can restore health by going to the surface but it's not really necessary in this version.

We had to simplify the idea a bit since one of us couldn't work on the game (he had some problem with his irl job), the goal was to either find something lore-related or a boss at the end of the abyss but we never went that far in this version.

We actually had animations ready but there were only 2 hours left, I opened the animator logic then I realised that I forgor everything about how it worked then closed everything and went to sleep lol

Cannons are kinda underpowered, they should at least be equal in power to one shark but they can't even defend themselves

Would have been 10 times more fun if hooking on pins was easier, it's kinda random right now.
Also some automatic pin targeting, especially when the speed is high, would be nice.

It looks like and it sounds like one of those good old flash games, maybe a little too hard and the controls can be clunky

It has potential to be a full game but it's kinda too simple and too short right now

A little bit more of repair kits wouldn't have hurt

It's not a bad game but it doesn't really fit with the theme

Online multiplayer and it goes straight into the Epic Games store

As it is it's more of a gameplay demo, without online matchmaking/lobbies you can't do much.
The major flaw is that you need friends to enjoy it, as we know very well gamers don't have friends.

It fits the theme but it's also quite buggy, I even went out of bound once

This is barely playable: no tutorial + weird spawnpoint + weird jump + no music/sfx + some buildings are too tall to reach even with improved stats

The little girl protagonist has the most interesting dialogue I've seen in the jam, how does she know Inception at such an early age?
Level design is a bit too hard and using a gamepad would benefit greatly the gameplay, otherwise pretty solid.

The game is well made and it's fun but the pace is far slower than what I would define "chaos", especially after all the upgrades you can just jump around killing everyone without too much effort.

Does digging have a purpose?

Holy moles they're ugly, that's really an incentive to whack 'em all.
Jokes aside, good concept but it's too hard to actually play without having some visual guidance on what you have to press, the easiest way to play I found is just pressing the whole corresponding area and hope to get everything right.

Borderline impossible to last for extended periods of time, either separate the controls or make the success in one of the game benefit you in the other (like recovering health with each line of tetris cleared).

Way too hard with merged controls, I can multitask very easily but having to manage both with the same keys forces you to sacrifice either one for the same of overall survival.

I took the 3rd place for now, great game!
There's only one major problem: the cursor get lost in the action; a novice of the genre could get easily lost.

This is amazing, it's a proper GalGun with the heart of a flash game.

It looks great but it's near impossible to play with the keyboard, the character is too fast to maneuver and too slow to pick up medkits with clumsy controls. Turning left and right is very confusing using WASD, does the character turn based on where he's facing or it's based on the camera?
With some controls and stats (health, speed, etc.) polish it can turn to a great game.

Forgot to add a comment, the game has a good concept but lack polish (expect from a 7-day jam). The jump is particularly annoying as most platforms are just barely low enough to sorta bug you in the polygon corner, I would also have preferred to jump with space instead of W.
Explaining exactly what each potion do at the start would have also added a lot of depth in the gameplay aswell as adding a potion queue to time the launch of harmful or beneficial potions.
