Fun game for sure, maybe a little hard for me and my old pc, but what i saw and played were very nice! and the change on the music was really effective haha!

Fantastic graphics, really suit the mood there, and game is pretty decent good job.
Quite hard - I didn't went too far, as I didn't find anyway to refill health and enemies are striking pretty bad, also on my desktop it runs pretty laggy. I have found that "shop menu" that board place that it's quite too high in the way player walks there, some different menu might be a better thing here.
Thank you! I agree, the balance is a little off. We haven't really experienced any lag, but with that many particles, it's quite possible.

in term of the shop menu I mean that going each time to that board on the wall, takes time, and still you have come quite close to interact and look up - as board is above player, and it feels bit odd there :)
yeah, it's a bit annoying, but we did it that way to drag the player away from enemy spawnpoints (sometimes we messed up the spawnpoints tho)

I had a hard time figuring out how to interact, but I pulled it off. The game is pretty damn fun though. I also appreciated the fact that losing doesn't reset your inventory, so you get to try more weapons. Good work overall. :)

yeah, we know. We forgot to change them, actually, and now they don't really match the skeletons (or the Gliders).

I love the models! They're soft looking enough to be cute, and it feels like your own aesthetic rather than sticking with the common low-polygon style.
The fire spells are a little difficult to gauge the size of when trying to dodge them.
I hope to be able to try out the other weapons later on if I can manage to survive that long!
Thanks! This time i tried something a bit different with the models. We are planning on releasing a new version, with some bugs fixed. And some of the weapons are unreachable after a rebalance we made late in development.
The gameplay is really fun, and I really liked moving around the maps with the jump pads. It's also cool how many different weapon upgrades there are. The cool trick stuff button was a pretty funny touch, too.
Visually, the game looks pretty good, and I like the overall art direction. The particle effects are a nice touch, and I'm a big fan of the music; it fits the gameplay really well.
This was a good entry, I had a lot of fun playing it.
Also, the DK Rap reference is pretty epic.

A few suggestions:
'Interact to start' sign is too high. It feels a bit odd to be next to it and enter menus... Could it be a portal on the ground maybe? I also bothers me that I have to be facing the wall when action starts.
Make more expensive weapons better. It was bit of a downside to buy a new weapon and realise it wasn't good enoug... Also would be nice to buy more hp / health packs. :)
All in all very solid experience. Well done!
Very nice effects and fun gameplay! It's also a positive aspect that you cannot lose your items if you die.
I think if you have a health bar, it will be easier to see than a text. Good job!

Unfortunately the game is not working for me ... I can move the camera but when I'm on the "interact to start" sign there is not any input working ....
E should be working fine. Are you using a different keyboard layout? We have only tested it with standard, English QWERTY and the Polish one (they are basically the same)
I'm using an AZERTY one but I switched it on QWERTY :c

I played the windows version
interesting, we playtested it several times before and this bug is almost impossible to miss. I'll update the page, as it seems the windows build is broken in some way. Maybe it's due to the fact that in the last minutes we had problems with one of the git merges.
With a little bit of more balance this game would be very fun!.

Thank you! Yeah, it needs some more balancing... probably we will release a post jam version on itch after the rating period is over. There were also weapon sounds but they got lost in one of the commits made in the last minutes of the jam and some other content was lost as well (like the sword not being added by default)
