The idea for the game was inspired by the theme, and we tried to make the gameplay chaotic and add elements to make it more chaotic.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?

I really liked it, very polished game.
I just had problems with the tutorial going too fast and being a small script.
After that it was all smooth. I thought the theme didn't fit well.
But it was a good experience.

Nice game. But the text in the tutorial area is too small and when you constantly move it can be hard to read. When you learn all mechanics it's nice polished game with fast movement, great retro graphics, music and sound effects. But sometimes it's quite challenging.
Indeed, I feel the biggest flaw in my game design was not giving the players enough time to learn the game mechanics, which can make the rest of the game feel quite challenging as a result.

I'm sorry but you get a full score amazing game.
This game has everything going for it. It has snappy controls, great artwork, and great music. Only problem is how punishing it is. It feels hard to get better at a game like this when the first area of the game seems impossible without the power-up you are given right at the start. I thought that was a grace hit, not a mandatory part of complete the area.
The animations and polish are great but it has an unfair type of difficulty.
Crazy backgrounds, good music, great idea and controls are pretty good. Biggest issue is the design and difficulty. It's pretty cute that you're given these death messages but the game is hard in an obtuse way, not a fun way. You can't kill enemies with your weapon as far as I can tell and they stand right in your way so you either need great jump timing or the diamond powerup. I can get past the gate jump in the 2nd level but without the diamond power up the bone guy is impossible lol.
It's frustrating because the game seems like it'd be really fun to play if the levels were laid out better.
The levels are entirely possible, given the right approach, but they're certainly very difficult.
After the jam we'll make the game a little more accessible by making an easy mode, as its clear the extreme difficulty isn't for everyone. Also you are not able to hit enemies just for the fact that it'd make the game much too easy given the limitations of what we had to work with in the time given, this also could be something we change in a post-jam version, with a harder difficulty that doesn't have that feature.

Done on a high level with attention to details. Big work is seen. Though I'm not sure the game fits the chaotic theme. Also it seemed too fast for me.

I think the game is great the art, music are amazing though it was quite hard especially during the tutorial for the first time as it throws everything at you very quickly, though it was pretty fun but I didn't really see how it was chaotic.
Seems very classic, remind me a lot of some megaman SFX, nice implementaiton of the graphics as well.
About the game in egenral, I had to go through a lot of "You Suck!" just because the Rocks Mining thing didnt make too much sense at distance.
Also, I didn't find any chaos related stuff.

Gameplay was intended to be chaotic, we planned to have more telekenetic elements, but they were scrapped due to time constraints. Maybe we'll realize those ideas sometime later!

it's a good game, I liked the audio the most, the gameplay was fine, the only complaint is the game is kinda hard because there are a lot of keyboard keys to handle.
i really loved the experience, the game is really polished and fun
in my opinion it would have been more fun if you could throw the axe at the bats
and something that could be slightly improved is that sometime the rocks you have to mine blend with the background which make them hard to spot

This game is very well polished, honestly to the point where it could be sold on a online store. I love the diversity and variety of mechanics, all of them feel fun and satisfying. The art-style and music are great. The only flaw is the childish insults when you die, a simple "Game over" would be have been better, since the game is frustrating enough. Overall, genuinely a great game that has potential to win.
Tutorial took me at least 20 attempts... I dunno, I would like to learn how to play game flawlessly, then you can massacre me ... Yeah ... I'm frustrated now ... :D
Graphics and audio of game are good, but I didn't find any "Chaos" theme in the game :/ Maybe because I didn't get through 1. level (after tutorial).
