In what way does your game fit the theme?
The idea for the game was inspired by the theme, and we tried to make the gameplay chaotic and add elements to make it more chaotic.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything is detailed in the credits.
Nothing art or code-wise is external.

Nice visuals and music, but it's a bit too punishing for noobs like me :P At the very least there should be checkpoints all the time while learning the controls. :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

I really enjoyed Edgebound btw, hoping you give it some polish after the jam!

Fun little mine-cart game! Don't know what you need to set, but the WebGL version was such a tiny screen with no option to go fullscreen. Made it really hard to read text that was speeding past. Loved the pixel-art and concept.

Developer

I'll re-add the fullscreen option, I found it was causing performance issues, but that was pretty shortsited of me all things considered.

Glad you enjoyed the game nontheless!

great art and music i feel like the mining button could be something easier to hit, like on mouse 2 or just the ability to remap, and have a bit of a faster response time, but overall really well done with the overall delivery of the game and jam entry

I found it very difficult to read some of the text, which meant I kept failing. But the game, although difficult, was alot of fun and well put together. Great stuff, I'd love to hear your thoughts on my entry.

Needs checkpoints!! :))

Developer(+1)

Maybe for the planned easy mode, but the stages are a bit too short for checkpoints at the moment, definitely something on the post-jam checklist though!

Great game!

Perfect way to show the tutorial, loved ^^

I loved the gameplay mechanics, although I thought the difficulty early on was a little too hard, considering how the tutorial showed the basics in a easy way to understand, with easy obstacles and easy enemies to avoid , but on the next stage the difficulty of the game increased significantly and it kinda became a trial and error experience, for me at least.

But overall, it was still pretty fun! Loved the parallax effect and the artstyle, and the mechanics themselves are really neat. Congratulations!

This game is great. The visuals are fantastic and the main gameplay is fun and feels polished. My only main concern is that the tutorial didn't really give you much of a chance to learn the mechanics. It took several tries to really understand what it wants me to do before I would run out of time to complete the action and have to restart. But otherwise, very nice!

SO GOOD NICE JOB!

Very good, polished game. Its a little to hard in the tutorial level, but i made it :). Also, is that tyler1 screaming when you kill a skeleton?

Developer

YES, I was waiting for someone to realize pfff.

When I was making the skeletons I decided to add the "yeet" feature, and it just happened to be the scream I thought of when implementing it.

It's difficult at the beginning. Nice art. Fantastic job!!
