I think the game is pretty neat, it was for sure chaotic, a lot of the time I felt like I had little understanding of what was going on but I knew I had enemies to defeat and projectiles to dodge. So in that sense of "I have no idea what's going on" there's still a clear objective of "I need to survive". Much like others, I do think the effects are bit overkill at times, though I was big fan of the rain effect, as it set an atmosphere for the room rather than be distracting or impede gameplay.

It took a bit to understand how the weapons worked but I didn't mind the cycling of weapon effects since they all felt useful in someway, there wasn't any particular bad one I noticed so good job on that front.

I think the level design could use a bit more work in my opinion. Most rooms were fine as they had enough open space to dodge, however there was a winding snake like room that made it almost impossible to dodge given that enemies took up almost the width of the entire path way.

I also wish the UI was a bit more responsive, I didn't know whether I was in the right spot to click the map button because it didn't react to me hovering my mouse cursor over it, like the button changing to a darker grey or something as my mouse was over it. Even clicking it sometimes lead to the button not doing anything and it taking multiple clicks to actually open the map. In the end I was able to navigate it but it was a struggle.

Overall though, despite my criticisms, I think this game is pretty fun and fits the theme well in my eyes. Great work!

From what I can tell, this game has some potential; however, I have tried multiple times and cannot change rooms. I would recommend toning down some of the effects/post processing, they can be extremely distracting.

Great game! Its a little hard to see whats going on but I feel like that kind of adds to the chaos! Awesome job this was a lot of fun.

It's actually pretty great — the challenge, abilities and gameplay are well balanced, good job! My only take is that screen effects are obscuring vision, might be a bit of an overkill.

Nice audio and visual design. Although it became a little cluttered at times. I wish you had more control over the attacks like aiming it instead of just clicking on the enemies though.

Well done! There is a lot going on here lol.

I liked  the idea here: something happened and now all video game worlds have been smushed together? I recognize a lot of the stuff in here, but some I can't place lol. As it is, it feels pretty difficult to play. I died in the second room because I couldn't click on a teleporting enemy before he disappeared. The player bullet animation was really confusing because it wasn't immediate and took a long time to hit the target. For a "shoot" action, players expect something super responsive since this is their primary tool for problem solving in your game. Also, the multiple post-processing effects on the screen made it really hard for me to tell what was going on. All the colors were too bright and washed out to make out a lot of the contrast quickly. And for some reason your start button wouldn't work for me. I had to just spam clicks in the general area before it actually worked. Usually that happens in Unity when you've got multiple canvas items overlapping each other. 

Do you have your remixes for this jam posted anywhere? I'm always down for a megalovania remix and I suspect those two remixes got a lot of your attention. I want to appreciate them!

This game was very visually interesting. I think giving the player more feedback would help. I wasn't really sure what was going on other than going through the portals.
