Really cool game! I absolutely loved the style of the hand drawn art, I think it works perfectly with the somber story and characters! The gameplay was fun but I think adding some particles or something when you defeat the enemies would make it feel even better! Overall, I think you did a really great job!

I loved the hand drawn art, but the gameplay needs some improvement. I couldn't see the point in chosing the shield, and the bird does damage even when I tried to kill it with the sword. Also found a bug where I took damage even after killing one of the monsters. A soundtrack for the first stages would also have been nice. The game could turn out fun, have a melancholic atmosphere with the right audio and some more attention to the gameplay.

The game's really interesting, I think this is the first game that i've rated that i feel is more story based on the character's world rather than the world the character's in. nice art style and interesting universe but I should not have picked up the shield XD

I like this game very much. It's a bit confusing at first, but after a few attempts, I was able to finish it. Hand drawn art is unique and I like it. Could use some ambient sound. The ending was cute. Great game :)

When i grabbed the shield of solace and threw it it disappeared  and I couldn't get it back. Also, if you hit space and jump at the same time you can jump over the prison part and I didn't know this and fell off the map.

Charming Art! Other than a few minor bugs like some issues with the walking animations and the piano taking your health no matter what the game works great!
