In what way does your game fit the theme?
Billy and Bernard are fused together by MAD circus science - they must work together (because, they are better together) to fight Klowns on their way to freedom.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code was written fresh for this jam (I am very new, used a lot of Brackey's tutorials to get this far, and understand where I am when I got here haha)... and all art was created by our artist, but some HAD been created before the jam, full disclosure, team of two and we thought that was allowed. That was definitely not what took up our time - it was the code - hence the superfluous screenshots/concept images :D

This is definitely a VERY unique concept for the game. I wish there was more gameplay though. Its really easy not dying so maybe you could make the enemies harder by letting them move or have more health or even letting them spawn more often.  And I wish there were sound effects and music. On the other hand, I really liked art. This was fun to play and I see a lot of potential with this.

The art is amazing.... gameplay needs a lot of polishing and sound will be a huge improvement. GOOD JOB!

Pretty good game! The clowns kept spawning on top of the cars making it impossible to get new weapons but the game shows a lot of potential!

Thanks for playing! :D we are definitely planning on fixing a TON of bugs and then releasing an 'endless' fight version with the bar car from the screenshots/concept image!

We are making Gameplay Videos about the Games we played and Talk about while playing them, to give a Live Feedback while playing, which often is a bit Rough, but we found its a good Experience for the Developer to see the Good Parts and also the Problems in their Games.

Bananaz Split,  The Graphics are Awesome, Sound is missing and would improve this Game so much.

Animations are also Great. The Game Idea is very Simple and reminds me of older Games i played when i was Young, so very Nostalgic.

The Jumping seems to be Bugged,  The Big Ape automatic slaps enemies you get Close to  not sure if this is intended but feel weird. Also if you go Down it feels sometimes it works sometimes its not working. Sometimes you just fall down.

There a lot of Bugs and Glitches in this Game. But its a good Work and there is so much more potential in this Game. Keep working on it and Improve it.

Health Bar and Loosing would be cool. More Levels, more enemies please.

Here an Addition:
Like in Many Other Games i played today again: I really dislike that you have to Press W for Jumping, that's a Movement Key in 99.9% Games and not for Picking Up stuff or doing Tricks or Jumping.
I always tell People Stick with the Usual Key Bindings which are used across almost all Polished Games.
WASD = Movement E = Pickup  - F = Interaction - Space = Jump
Don't make Jumps on W in a Plattformer there is a Key called Space for this or a Mouse Button if you don't have Shooting. 
Mixing this basic things up don't make u guys Innovative, it only makes People struggle through your Games and they getting Frustrated because they are not used to this Key binding.

Thanks very much for playing and reviewing the game - we definitely ran out of time, hence the large amount of bugs and lack of sounds, but we might actually work things out and release as a full game! 

I appreciate the feedback on the jump key being W and not space bar; the reason I used W instead of space was that originally, Billy (the big ape) was going to be controlled instead of having auto-attack, and spacebar was going to be his attack since it was very clumsy running around and trying to attack using another key at the same time. But when the game designer decided they wanted Billy to auto-attack, also since you can jump down from the top of the train cars with 'S', "W' seemed like the logical counterpart for jumping (and later climbing). Our vision too, for later in the game is that there will be poles you can climb on, therefore the jump/climb is kind of just his 'upward movement', like you said, it is a movement key in 99.9% of games xD
Knowing this ^^ does that change your opinion of 'W' being a bad jump key? Just curious as I am currently tinkering with it :D

Mhh yeah make Sense with the Control Keys, but as Player i don't know about the Process behind that.

The Idea with the Poles instead of Jumping would be Awesome and more Ape Like!

I said if Space is not used for Shooting/Attacking there is no Reason for putting Jump on W,

 but if you say that Billy was Attacking before with Space okay then this makes sense at the first place. I think its a good Approach that Billy is Auto Attacking since it would be to much Input for 1 Player and i guess its  getting Confusing.

I still think W is a bad Jump Key haha but yeah the way you explained it makes sense.

I Gonna set this Game now on our Collection to Replay it once it is Updated. I really would like to play the Improved Version, how i said it has a lot of Potential and the Look is awesome!

This art style is amazing, and the game concept looks solid. In its current form it's pretty rough (no health bar that I can see, and no music/sound effects) but I feel like this is something your team can definitely build on!

We are planning on polishing the game up a bit for a formal release *fingers crossed* - and just so you know, there is a heath indicator in the bar on the top left (it says health : and then numbers) but maybe a bar or hearts would be more intuitive! I appreciate the feedback!

It could really benefit from some sound, and the double-jump was a little bit weird. Overall, though, this game just has so much personality and was really fun to play!

Thank you very much for playing! And I agree xD something weird happened with the double jump.. it goes WAY too high sometimes right? I'm doing some bug hunting and polishing right now as we may release this for real after :D 
And yes, we definitely forgot to allot time for sounds lol 7 days seems so short now!

Thank you very much for playing and for your feedback! Adding enemy health indicators is a very good idea! Ideally it is meant to be a quick-paced game with the enemies only taking one or two hits... (and I didn't have quite enough time to finish the enemy animations lol as well as the sounds xD).. so the hit impact animation and death anims / sounds might make a healthbar unnecessary. But I will definitely try it out now lol.

not sure if i should be able to jump on the roof, but I can. Jumping outside the screen is also possible

Thank you for playing the game! You are supposed to be able to jump on the roofs of the cargo cars, but how were you able to jump outside the screen? xD I am currently doing some bug hunting and I would like to reproduce (and hopefully solve) that issue!
