I really liked the cultist idea and the way this affects your abilities, though it felt a little weird that platforming was the mechanic to improve your following. I like the music, though you mention that all other assets were created by you but the taking damage sfx sounds an awful lot like minecraft, and the wololol ect so I'm wondering did you actually make the music? Also the platforms had gaps on the corners so I was regularly getting stuck in floors and falling into the gaps between walls. It's a nice game overall though, I don't mean to be too negative, just saying what I noticed. I enjoyed it.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player has to gather more followers to upgrade their stats, which could make the levels easier to complete.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Most of the code was written by ourselves. Most of the platforming level assets were free assets, while all other assets were created by us.

I really liked the pixel art of the characters and the little backgrounds! It was cool to have a strategic overlay with the platforming. I liked the idea and goal of fighting for followers, but it was hard to see the connection between the platforming and the goal.
The game overall was fairly fun and I enjoyed the challenge of playing through each level.
Like I said, the challenge was good, and the fact that there were usually multiple ways to go up a level was also pretty nice.
There were many problems with collisions, like sometimes getting stuck on the ground, or just weird collisions with the moving platforms.
The movement itself also felt a bit sluggish personally, and the fact you can punch anything unless you stop moving was pretty annoying, though it didn't affect the experience too much as you never really had to punch many things in the game.
I'd also look into blending the assets a bit better so they match. For example, the art for most of the level tiles were pretty different in comparison to like the spikes or player/enemy sprites.
Overall the game can use some improvement but nevertheless it was fun to play through, good job!
I loved the various soundtracks you had, each level felt unique. I also liked the interpretation of the theme. Movement was a bit buggy, but I had fun playing your game!
Really cool idea! I liked the map, and the menus were well laid out and easy to navigate. I don't know if this was just my computer or if its a code problem, but I got stuck in the ground a lot. Other than that, it's a cool game. Good job!
I like the menuing and map to choose level. The scenario is innovative and attractive. I would have liked to get more bonus, or being able to do more as I get followers and influence.
The platform part is fun and challenging. Although it is quite easy to get out of bounds, and I ended up more than once on the wrong side of the level haha.
Another bug I saw was when I fell down, the screen change and I thought I was going back to the precedent part of the level, but the screen went actually on the upper part. So my character was somewhere and I was seeing somewhere else. It is hardcore to win like this trust me. ;)
But those are minor points and don't break any of the fun !
Cool design and fun to play, well done :)
Nice game, reminded me of Celeste's platforming. Nice level design as well and music.
