This game is very fun to play and I love what you done with the effects and the music makes it more dramatic. My only complaint is that the movement for the player can be a bit annoying when they are all separated leaving you exposed but all in all, a very fun game.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
u hide from enemy fire bullets, and use ur AI soldiers to fight back, while u can hide safely, so u are stronger with them, try not to lose them on ur way, cuz they get stuk easily (ur AI soldiers will follow ur aiming and movement exactly, so this is ur weakness)
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
yes except the top down movement script that I used from a brackeys tutorial and an audio manager script from alexander zotov on utube
