In what way does your game fit the theme?
My game talks about Elements.
At the start you just can control Water, but advancing in the game you unlock all the elements like Fire, Earth and Air. Without using each of them you can't beat the darkness and advance in the game.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I coded the game all by myself, main characters art is made by myself.
Lights are made by myself.
For the environment art I used one free asset found on the asset store.
Voices are made by myself and music is taken on www.bensound.com

visually, this was the nicest game I've played. I've added it to my vid:
Really cool game! It's very beautiful and the voice acting is surprisingly good! It also fits the theme very well. My only problem is that the gameplay is a bit repetitive/easy, but the music and graphics compensate.
A nice little game! The visuals are amazing and the music fit really well. In terms of gameplay there is not much, the switching between elements could use some work. For example, finding an earth 'button' while playing as air, then having to switch to earth and move all the way to the button is quiet tedious. Still, a very relaxing experience!
such a cute game!!!! really loved it <3 btw don't forget to play mine ;)))
That was so cute! I loved the art Cubedev.. really nice work here :) Well done!
I'm not a big fan of the voice acting I guess it's kinda like your first time or second time, sorry if it's hurt you but it makes me kinda cringe, it can be done better and I know that when you try something at first you will be bad but overtime you would get experience and will do it nicely, but in my opinion you should try to improve voice acting before using it in something serious. I don't like the sound effect when you collect the orbs, it should have an improvement. Other than that the visual effects are well made I like how the the vegetation iluminates when an orb passes by and the music that you used in the game, it fits like a glove, hope you will improve and become better than before.
What a nice magical little game, the controls felt good, although switching between the spirits to move them one by one felt a bit tedious. All in all, a solid game. Keep up the good work!
The idea is amazing
Really loved the mechanics and who doesn't like controlling elements hehe
The visuals are beautiful!
Visually one of the best 2D games in this jam. Only complaint is that I would have loved to move the elements in unison rather than switching between them. I get what the point of that mechanic was, but it often felt that I needed to back track just a tad to much.
Overall I loved the experience and atmosphere. Very serene.
Keep it up!
The atmosphere created by the art and music and sounds is very pleasing, this game does remind me of Ori and the blind forest good job, one thing I will change is to make the other elements follow the one you are controlling because nobody wants to make the same route multiple times.
The visuals are STUNNING. The music is BEAUTIFUL. They fit the game so so well and the art is just mesmerizing to stare at, especially with the light effects you made! The voices are cute and really helped me figure out what to do. The game felt very much like a lovely interactive storybook.
I really wish there were more mechanics to the game, maybe a specific ability for a specific obstacle in the forest, or something about light. The characters being elements is not really that relevant to the game, as the goal is to defeat darkness, so adding a light ability corresponding to each element I think would be better. As mentioned by others, a way for the other elements to follow the element you control would really help the game feel more fun and make the game more relevant to the theme(Instead of moving together, you only move as one in this game). Other than that, the game is really impressive for a jam game and if you ever decide on continuing this game after the end of the jam, I would love to see it, even if it's just a short polished beautiful game!
This one is really beautiful with nice story and audio. Very Well done!
I would add the possibility to move all elements together insted of each one seperately.
I was really impressed by the graphics and music.
Oh my it's really beautiful, great job!
Check out my game as well and leave a rating^-^
Wow, what an incredibly gorgeous game! Even though it used pre made assets, I feel like you really elevated them to new levels with all of your post-processing and light effects! Each of the elements having a different voice was a nice touch too.
The gameplay is quite tedious in this game, I wish you could teleport the elements to each other somehow since it is annoying finding an element you don't match and having to bring the other element all the way over, and also backtrack with the original element. But this entry seemed a lot more focused on storytelling and visuals, and in that it succeeded, so good job!
I am so glad that you got the point of the game! I focused almost 90% on the visuals and the storytelling so I am quite happy with your feedback! Plus I feel that tedious gameplay you talk about, but I didn't know how to fix that, I thought about introducing a button to move all the elements together but that was not the right solution. I think with the idea of the teleport you gave me a huge idea! Really thanks!
I loved like... everything about the game! I do have one nitpick, though, and it is that the game is pretty short and I would really like to see a greater storytelling. When I saw the cover of the game, my expectations went way up, and I wasn`t disappointed, I was actually surprised! Yeah, this game is charming in a lot of ways, and is really heart warming, too. Thank you for this amazing piece of little story! Great job!
The visuals and atmospheric lighting are great! The narration and voice acting is phenomenal also.
Feel free to check out our game too :D
Love it.
Love the feeling you provide. Love the sound. Love the composition of grafics, movement, atmosphere and strains.
Thanks.
