In what way does your game fit the theme?
You have to both rewind a musicbox and a clock.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made everything myself from Scratch (Literally cause the game is made in Scratch)

Scary entry. Had some issues with audio. Replayed it and couldn't get the same bug.

Could you please play and rate my game as well?

Pretty creepy haha! Interesting concept, super simple and yet effective, perfect duration for a jam, good job :)

The man in the window was creeeepy.

Developer

That was the point ;)

The singing kinda scared me haha. Some of the winding is a bit buggy like the clock, but it's pretty good for a first game!

Nice job!

Developer

Yeah, the clock was kinda a last minute thing cause I realized that the game would be to easy and therefor boring if it wasn't there, so that's why it's kinda finicky

Feels a bit like playing fnaf. Good game.

Developer

Jup, I didn't mean for it to be like fnaf but that's deffenetly what happend XD

Submitted

It reminds me of FNAF 4.

It's great for a first game, but the game in itself isn't that great :/

Developer

Yeeeeaaaahhh, I didn't mean to make it like fnaf but that's how it ended up XD

Submitted

It's very good for a first game. Good luck on your journey ahead !!

Great first jam game!  I would suggest adding a thumbnail picture, screen shots, and decorating your game page.  It helps to motivate people to play your game~ Congrats on successfully submitting a game to the jam and I hope you learned a lot of new gamedev skills.  Please check out my game when you have free time :D

Developer

I would do that but I don't know haw to take screenshots, also this was the first game a published on itch so I didn't even know you could decorate the page XD

Creepy! I loved the take on rewind using a music box and the clock.

The music from the music box was a bit startling, maybe turn it down and use an audio program like audacity to give it acoustics/echo so it sounds like it's reverberating off of the walls of the room. Otherwise, I love games that take the theme in a totally different direction!

Developer

Thank you! I don't know how I would do that with the sound but I did try to move a bit away from the mic when recording it so it would sound like it's in an actuall room to get kinda the same feel. :)

I believe the Reverb option in Audacity(free sound editor program) simulates a room quite well: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/reverb.html. Lovely singing voice btw!

The atmosphere from the original song was really good, perfect for the theme of the game. Some additional audio, such as a sound for the stalker or the shutting of the door, or the winding of the clock, would have been helpful. The controls were a little tricky to remember, but it felt satisfying to keep that stalker in check. Great job on the theme.

Developer

Yeah, I agree that it would be better with more soung effects but time wasn't on my side XD

Nice idea for your probably first game. I found the controls a bit hard to remember maybe having them on screen all the time will help, but I really am amazed with how much you did with scratch and loved the singing :D
