How does the game fit the theme?
You play as a dice to earn points, but always risking to loose it all. If you stand to early you can't win big, but if you take too much risk you might lose too. The choice is yours: will you risk it for the biscuit?

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some sound efects, plugins for the music and text fonts.

Very solid and well crafted. I liked the upgrade system, being able to move and jump completely changed the experience for the better. The music and sound were nice. The only minor nitpick I have is the speed of menu transitions: I personally found them a little slow.

Great effort, keep up the good work!

Really clever pinball type mechanic. Would be cool if you could spend upgrades on the actual map, so you could like 'bump' your dice towards a certain direction while falling and things like that. But pretty fun nevertheless. Good job. 🙌

Very cute game!! The music definitely gave off arcade vibes, which matches the pinball-esque nature of the game very well. I wish the buttons/font were better polished to match the aesthetic of the game more but I totally get the time limits of a game jam! Great work!!

Music was fun and I liked the art, but I played for like 10 minutes and never got above like $2-300? Did I miss something or is this just randomly jumping down and hoping you get a good score? I saw in the shop that there’s buffs that let you play a game while randomly seeing what results you get - I think you might’ve wanted to start the player off with some of them :)

Okay actually before posting this comment I checked it out one more time and didn’t get nearly as unlucky, and realized you actually can save up money between rounds 🤦‍♀️ Something about the way it shows your Last Round amount made it pretty unclear to me that money could be saved so I kept trying to go from $100 to $1000 all in one go from the start which is… not very likely.

Anyway it’s significantly more fun when you’re able to actually control your character and how they drop. I can understand for pacing why you gated that off but I think maybe a goal of like $250 would make it easier to get into, let us have fun sooner than later!

In the name of the Addicted Kin, I call you out, o twisted creators! This game has no connection with RNGesus! I have been witness! When you reach the height of 20k$ we all so dearly desire, misfortune falls on you every time! There is no other reason, but UNHOLY code pulling the strings of fate!

Oh lord of comments, I must thank you for such an honorable message! We are highly flattered to hear those words :)

P.S: Thanks for the bug report

You've given a whole new meaning to the :) emoticon, lol. I'm really enjoying your game! Roll a dice and prepare for winning!

On a side note, I bought everything, but it seems I can't purchase the $40,000 'Increment'. Not sure if it's just me :)

Developer

Thank you soon much! I'm pretty sure we fixed all the bugs in the store, but we might have missed something. Thanks for your comment.

Artstyle is great. Sound fits the game very good. Mechanics are good too. I would love to see some kind of buffs or muliplier gadgets to improve my score :)

Developer

Thank you! We plan to add those in the future :)

The fuc##ng dice is fuc##ng addictive ngl, although the movement+jump upgrades are fuc##ng broken (In the OP sense)

Developer

I fuc##ng love that you fuc##ng get the vibe bro.

Fits the jam theme so well, the risk was palpable when I had 10k+ and not standing. I think there would be some benefit to having slightly more complex levels and the ability to see the goals below you before dropping, especially in the first playthrough without power-ups, but still very fun!

you really took the theme of this jam very seriously xD, love it

very addictive gameplay, in a good way. loved it.

Great ideia, you really capture the main theme of Jam, i really liked the game! Congratz! I played over 20 minutes to buy all upgrades haha

At first I thought it would be nice to preview the buckets so u knew what to aim for, but after getting some upgrades I get why you wouldn't do that. Pachinko style physics with a luck based game is pretty interesting, haven't seen that before.

The art style was cute and cohesive too. I liked being a dice.

Cute art style and a funny interpretation of the theme! I had a fun time. I wish the shop had more options to buy, but the idea of purchasing game mechanics to help reduce the “luck” part was really cool. And I felt betrayed when the “:)” got me down to 0 money 😭

I really like the premise of this game. It's super fun to play. The game looks smooth and the music is nice! Sadly my final run ended with the game getting softlocked after I landed perfectly on a bumper and couldn't move lol.

Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! It really means a lot. We managed to fix the softlock during the grace period so thanks for giving the feedback.

Great to hear! Funny, my only complaint was that I didn't get to play more of your game haha.

Good job again! <3

It was nice to gamble the money away and literally risk everything for getting more money. I do feel like some of the multipliers go out of hand quite fast though in a way that it makes buying all the upgrades so easy. For a gamejam game it was still quite enjoyable to play, congrats!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! During the grace period we tried to even out a litle bit the progrsion system and the chances of losing everithing, if you want to try out the new version.
