This is truly amazing! I love the experience this game provides. The background music is great, and the effects for movement and death are very well-polished. The checkpoint system for death is incredibly thoughtful! The only issue I can think of is the lack of a sound effect when you die. Congratulations!

The art style is very unique and the music is great too. I spent more than ten minutes just jumping around and didn't get bored at all.
I ran into an issue where I couldn't seem to damage the Boss Robot. I had to watch your video to realize that activating Wind Slash is what turns your normal attacks into ranged attacks. This seems like it might have been a technical problem on my end.
Good game! I look forward to seeing more map designs in the future!
Thank you so much for playing our game! I just followed your Twitch account and had a great time watching the VOD of your stream. :>
It was super insightful to see your playthrough. To warn of approaching enemies, we used a few cues like changes in the background music, monster roars, a countdown timer, and markers on the progress bar. However, watching your stream made us realize that we should probably add a clear text warning to make it more obvious.
Regarding the mining, there's an upgrade system that might not have been clear enough. After each death or when you hide back at the mine entrance, you get an opportunity to upgrade your mining speed, power, or cart movement speed to give you a constant boost.
Your stream was incredibly helpful in showing us areas where our game design could be improved, and we are so grateful for that! We noticed you didn't get to experience the mining after upgrade, which makes a big difference. If you ever have a spare moment, we would be honored if you'd give it another try. The complete game loop is about 5-10 minutes, and the goal is to win by rescuing your mining friend on the far right.
I can't believe how much time I've spent on this game, especially level 10. I would have never in a million years guessed that was the secret rule... To be honest, even if someone had told me the rule, I probably still wouldn't have been able to pass it, lol.
Despite that, I still spent half an hour just trying to document which letter combinations were safe to step on. I made a list with the safe tiles on the left and the unsafe ones on the right. I didn't get to finish the list, because I finally managed to clear the level in the end.
Man, that's crazy.

A platformer where you can't change direction in mid-air is a really interesting game mode. It's so painful and funny when I accidentally jump all the way back to the start by myself. Without a power meter like the one mentioned in other comments, the only way to succeed is through practice, which makes it a really fun challenge!
I can't seem to get my 'Taste' value higher than my 'Sogginess' value. I understand that I can maintain 'Integrity' by not touching the sides of the cup, but I'm not sure if I fully grasp the concepts of the first two attributes. Could you please explain them? I'd love to try the game again once I understand!
Also, the music and visuals are very pleasant and relaxing!
1. Yes, I agree. More enemies mean a higher density of bullets, which makes the game more difficult. I think it would be better to tie the random number for enemy spawns to a timer. This would make it easy at the beginning and progressively harder over time, until the player is eventually overwhelmed by an unbearable number of enemies and dies. However, this preference also comes from the fact that I'm a fan of level-based games, so I lean towards having a clear final goal (even if it's a fated death), lol.
2. Using the 'R' key for reloading is perfectly fine, too. I don't feel there's a strong need to change it.
It's a very short and interesting game, and the opening animation was really fun. Nice work!
The game's art style and setting are fantastic and really drew me in!
I'm having a little trouble understanding the gameplay mechanics, though. I was hoping you could clarify how I can 'Earn the correct emotions to further improve my odds.' How can I tell which emotions are the 'correct' ones, and how do I gauge my chances of winning a round?
I'm really eager to beat these bosses who have bankrupted me so many times, lol. Looking forward to figuring it out!
The feeling of impact in combat is really excellent! In the endless mode, with enemies and the map constantly generating, the highest combo I managed to get was 14!
Changing the limited number of throws to a stamina system was also a fantastic decision; it makes the experience much more engaging. I think if there were also some levels that required less stamina, the sense of accomplishment after clearing them would feel even stronger.
Regardless, I'm so happy I got to play this game!
Driving a car to protect our cookie machine is such a great idea! I love the concept of combining zombies and cars, and the fiery red sky really sells the apocalyptic feeling.
As a dual-screen user, I did run into a small issue. The game doesn't capture the mouse, so I would accidentally move my cursor off the game screen. When that happened, I couldn't rotate my view anymore, which limited my perspective.
Overall, it's a fantastic concept!
I started with the Jam version and then played the version on GitHub. The detailed improvements really made the game much more interesting! As soon as I started, I swapped almost all my spells for the cookie blessing and had nearly a thousand cookies by the time I reached the first door. It was incredibly satisfying and a fantastic feeling of power. While the sense of purpose could be a bit clearer and some repetition is noticeable, the overall experience is wonderfully fun and rewarding.
I found a really interesting rhythm in the fast cycle of death and rebirth, it's a lot of fun! However, I'm stuck on a later level: the cannons fire too fast for me to get through the barrage between the shots. By the way, the comic book intro is a really cool idea. I understood the story instantly!
Your game is absolutely awesome! The designs for the map, player, and enemies are all super appealing. I especially love the main character's gun-spinning reload animation, lol. The sound effects are really cool too. And honestly, the fact that I died more often from falling off ledges than from monsters was part of the fun for me!
