Nice little game! The physics were well implemented in this one.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for playing!
Honestly I don't expect to discover a better game for the rest of the duration of this jam. This game is legitimately too good. You can stack wide and try to minimize risk as you pile on more cookies... you can stack narrow to maximize height (& aesthetic purity of a clean cookie tower). You can let your imagination run wild & create some ungodly cookie monstrosities... All built off of a very simple game mechanic. The music variety is so wide, I felt like I never heard the same track twice, and all of the songs build off the cozy game vibe. These are also all classic crackers - I can swear I've eaten at least one of each of these crackers at some point in my life. I can't say enough good things about this game. I'll be playing the rest of your games after the jam... And maybe I'd like to team up one day!
Thank you for the praise! Had a lot of fun making this game!
If you plan on playing some of my other games I recommend Dinorika and Protect Your Balls. Most of my games are unfortunately mildly buggy/could use a little more time in the oven game jam games, but I like to think I have a couple of gems in there.
Thanks for playing and I would be down to team up for a jam at some point, sounds like fun!
The type of game I'd play in real life, honestly. Yeah, simple fun, but I liked it! I also liked the music choice. I did get a little invested as I felt very angry with my 18 score :( but I had fun! I like that the crackers are different shapes and sizes and that you don't really know what you're gonna get, it made it so much more challenging. And the fact that it gets faster. Perhaps not the most innovative, but it's fun, and that's what ultimately matters!
Thanks for playing! Unfortunately this jam I was strapped for time so I figured I would go with something simple I could polish. Glad you had fun!
Simple fun indeed! Kinda addictive too. I'd really have liked a leader board as well, and maybe a few additional mechanics. I liked this though. Well done and good luck with your entry
Simple fun is the best kind!
Would love to see more items added into it like oreo's cream or butter or something
That could be fun, Having the new items have different physical properties, like sticking or sliding.
Thanks for playing!
Hahaha the concept is very funny and the game is also entertaining, congratulations
Thanks for playing!
Whelp, after just about as many tries, 33 remains my record.
Would love to hear what an actual highscore looks like.
Appreciate the different music.
Gotta ask, just to be cheeky, did you make the crackers yourself?
Highest one I have seen in the wild is 73. Really kicking myself for not adding a leaderboard!
The crackers are store bought, didn't bake them myself. But I did photograph them all along with one of my plates. I figured I would try my hand at using physical media (and just wanted an excuse to eat crackers).
Thanks for playing!
The audio when the player loses is simply beautiful.
Fun little game, good job - Marc
Womp womp. Thanks for playing!
Thanks for the feedback. Yea I probably could have had it zoomed out a little more, maybe added a button to inspect the whole tower
Fun and simple! I like the sound effect when you lose.
Thanks for playing!
really cute! I will say the way the camera pans back up after a dropped biscuit lands was a little disorienting for some reason. i had fun playing it!
Thanks for the feedback. Probably should have the snap back ease into it a bit slower. Glad you enjoyed!
Really polished and fun game, love the use of physics and real world images!
Thanks for playing!
Excellent interpretation of the theme. Simple and fun game!
Thanks for playing!
Fun little game that reminds me of the classic tower bloxx games! A quick implementation of a leaderboard may have been beneficial, could look to add it post-jam.
Thanks for playing!
i love the clicky feel of the sound effects. amd the stacking isnt too punishing also great job!
Thank you! Most of the sound effects were me just making weird noises with my mouth at the mic late last night. Glad to hear they worked. Thank you for playing!
It's a fun simple game, can't really say much else apart from womp womp.
Womp womp! Thank you for playing!
Loved the sound when you lose haha
Thats me sleep deprived trying to figure out what a good losing sound should be. Im glad it is appreciated! Thanks for playing!
Very simple, yet fun! My hiscore was 455.
Nice! Thanks for playing!
Cute little game, I had fun playing it.
Thank you for playing!
This game is so simple yet so engaging. It looks great, its very easy to pick up and it has just enough juice to feel rewarding to play. I would just add leaderboards for players to compete against each other. Not mine but I noticed you also use Godot, in our game I used this one: https://silentwolf.com/
Thank you for the feedback. I will have to check out silentwolf, it seems useful. A leaderboard would have added a lot more engagement. Glad you enjoyed!
