Amazing game! That ending was truly something...

This made me chuckle lol
Hello! OMG, THE GAME WAS SO GOOD! I LOVED IT, IT WAS INCREDIBLE! The animation and sound were absolutely amazing. Great job! You definitely deserve to be in the top 20 entries—the game is really cool! I love it, and I’d really love to know how you made it! By the way, feel free to check out my game, even though it’s not as good compared to yours 💀😂
Thanks for the kind words! I will definitely check out your game :)
GG for your results !
Insane amount of gameplay & polish for a single week!
Biggest issue I had was restarting from the elevator every time I died, and figuring out what to do during the quicktime events.
Otherwise, impeccable work! The animation, sounds & physical interactions were all really smooth.
thank you! some events and readability need tweaking, I really want to fix that :)
Very well made for the gameplay part! One thing I wanna know - is S. Winchester a reference to Sam Winchester from Supernatural?? if it is this is literal peak.
I would say it would be nice if it had a title screen in the beginning instead of just throwing you in the game, maybe in a later update..
thank you! Yes, it's a supernatural reference and the monster itself is the wendigo from season one, glad it was noticed :) I plan on increasing the game in the future
Nice one! The art style and story were cool and I liked the monster design. I also found it cool how the controls worked with the hands, it reminded me of the game grow home/ grow up. My only wish was that it was a bit longer. Well done!
Thank you! Yes, unfortunately it came out a bit short, but the mechanics were tested :(
Really cool game! I like the art style and the overall vibe of the game is nice and creepy. It took me quite a bit to figure out that I had to be crouching to open the panel thing on the side of the elevator to get the flashlight, but I think that was the only thing I struggled with in the game. I was really surprised by the ending and it added to the creepyness of the game for sure. Great work!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Amazing graphics, and the controls felt smooth. The having to grab and look at different parts to do anything system kind of frustrated me a bit, it made it feel difficult to do simple things, like I couldn't figure out how to use the ladder fast enough to get back into the elevator. Other than that Awesome job!
thank you! You don't need to go back to the elevator, you need to jump into another one :) didn't have time to think about the design of the first elevator lock (
Very nice experience, scary but enjoyable, I loved the phone's riddle to open the door and the ending was unexpected, it's a shame we got so little, a full game developed like this would be lovely. Great job!
thank you! I'm glad you liked it! Unfortunately, the hand mechanics were a bit more complicated than I expected, and I couldn't get all the content into the game :(.
I see, but it was kinda worth it, I loved how you developed that system
Nice Work
thanks!
lags like crazy on my mid to high range pc, but i wont let that detract from how great this short little experience is!
thanks! i apologize for the bad experience due to low framerate, i didn't have time to optimize this time :(
This game feels incredigly well made! Very Cool
thanks!!
short and sweet but really enjoyable experience, would recomend to anyone who wants a nice short experience! i really liked the hand mechanic and would love to see it further expanded upon!
Thanks :)
This was pretty great! I'm not sure if intended, but it almost felt like this was being made for VR? Was cool that the mouse performed actions for each hand. The monster was scary. Also the ending was... well let's just say I don't have to buy jeans or shoes anymore. This was a great start to a finished game I'll hopefully be able to play in the future! Great work!
Thanks for the kind words! The game was not planned for VR, but in general it's possible, in general in the future I'll use the mechanics of interaction between hands and environment more often, and in this jam I wanted to test it :).
Jams are great for testing systems, that's what we did with our game. Your mechanic is a good one, it adds to the terror because like it says. The monster is scared of the light, but you have to put the flashlight up to use your hand lol.
thanks! added some customizations, hopefully it will get better :) about the riddle - it's probably not the letter C, but an unfilled digit :)
