Fun idea! The time limits felt fair and I could tell the game has been playtested because it is well-balanced. I would like to see some iteration on this idea because I think it has a lot of mileage. For now the mechanics are a bit shallow, but you know that already. One idea would be to have the inspector check all the player's previous hiding locations every level, so they keep having to find more and more creative solutions, like under the floorboards, in the trash or the oven, etc. Impressive work and thanks for reaching out on my thread :)

How does the game fit the theme?
You have a dead body in the house. You must all the evidence before the inspector comes. Don't miss any piece. NOTHING CAN GO WRONG.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All assests exept for the character model of the inspector and the body parts models. As for the code it's mixed, If I don't know how to do something I search for it.

Nice game! What I liked the most is the concept, which feels original and has a lot of potential. This game could be even more fun with an AI inspector that checks things in the house, like opening the fridge or drawers.
It would also be really cool if you could hide the corpses even after the inspector is inside by distracting him with objects or other tricks. Great submission!
This game was a lot more fun to play than most games that just copied a famous game and tried making it their own.
Especially for a first game, it delivered. I had a lot of fun with it!
I'd look into going for a different approach with the physics, maybe drag&drop instead of click (that's what confused me at first because i kept dropping things or not picking them up properly).
Also, the fridges are hella OP xD
Thank you for the fun!
This game is a really good concept, it would benefit a lot for the seeker to have a proper AI that searches the area, and checks frequent spots, etc. Good job
Really funny concept. I was cracking up as I hid the body in the fridge and threw chairs and the tv around to distract the inspector. I think it'd be cool if there was a bit more variety to the game, like maybe if the inspector opened the fridge on some levels so you can't always put it in there. Great work on the game!
The game has an interesting idea. I wish the inspector would climb into the refrigerator or I didn't get to that point. The controls were a bit annoying when the object wouldn't lift up. But otherwise, good job!
Really liked the quirky idea of hiding the body before the inspector comes!
Good idea but the controls are hard to grasp at the beginning. However a good job for a one week project.
Cool! Could do with an indicator for when I'm holding stuff or not. Awesome concept as well.
Ah I love the quality of life options! With how fast the games had to be made a lot of people had forgone adding that :D editing keybinds and volume is sooo nice!
And just a great concept, really silly :D
I really like the concept. I think if the music react with the time o something like that could be great
nice concept! sometimes the game didnt recognize me grabbing the parts, but it was fun anyway :)
Fun idea! I had trouble grabbing the body parts sometime but it was fun!
Really cool concept! Very fun idea, and impressive how much content there is with menu options and everything. My feedback would be: The music restarting every round gets a bit repetitive, the interactions and physics can be a bit frustrating at times (fridge doors and drawers bouncing open, interaction feedback lacking a bit sometimes), and lastly the tutorial menu had me a bit confused, as I had to press Esc to be able to get my mouse pointer and click the button. Despite those things, I had a lot of fun trying to beat all the levels, and I really enjoyed the challenge. Nice use of the theme too.
Damn.. This looks like a fun idea, and also goes with the theme haha... This game really has a potential in this jam. Great Job mate!
