How does the game fit the theme?
Artificial Obstance Intelligence is an anti-platformer in which the player's goal is to prevent an AI agent from completing a platformer. The levels are easy for the AI, nothing can go wrong... Until the player intervenes. Through a network of well placed traps, the player can hinder the AI and prevent it from acheiving its goal.

This is fun its like reverse lemmings. and the big lebowski sound made me laugh.  it was very fun

Love the role reversal! It feeds my malicious mario maker side coming out. The game was fun, but there was a bug  with the shop where you'd often buy something while changing the item you had in hand. Adding a button or ui element to drop the item would have been really helpful.

Cool idea, nice take! Still needs balancing, and fixing some edge cases like being able to dig a hole on spawn to clear some levels. But overall very good for a game jam, congrats!

Nice and fun game! I think it will be more challenging and interesting if only 3-4 traps available on each level without the money part.  And the spawning area is a weak point of AI. Overall good job!

this game is so short!!! please design more levels ,I cant wait for more levels,and it is so simple to kill the all enemies  ; )

I think the idea is really intriguing!  Unfortunately there are some bugs that really hurt enjoyment.  Sometimes I couldn't get the game to start after setting up my traps.  Also when I pick a different trap, it places the one I currently have in my hand underneath the button, wasting my hard-earned money :).  But when it worked it was really fun!

This idea is awesome! It definitely has some balance issues (the arrow trap seems a little too good), but it was super fun and has a lot of potential.

Nice, I totally agree with the others, the game has a lot of potential if developped further, but currently traps at the very beginning allow for an easy win.

We were just testing everyone to see if y'all would figure that out. Totally didn't accidentally leave some completely game breaking mechanic in or anything like that... oh wait

Gameplay definitely has potential! I agree with others on needing a radius around spawn where you can't place traps. I was able to just put a hole under the spawn and win every time..

Oh yeah, we were 100% just giving the player a way to turn all that potential (energy) you mentioned into kinetic energy. Hehe bad physics jokes.

You should put a build imunity on the spawn, like disable placing in a certain radius of spawn. I can just put a fan, a spike block on top, and no AI can go.

The concept was really really interesting tho

Fun game, but I pretty quickyl found an exploit where I could just put the spikes around the AI's spawn area and win that way. Other than that really creative and good game overall!

Fun concept, a sort of 'lemmings' x 'dungeon keeper'. But it's really easy for us to unbalanced the level.  2 spikes in a row and the guys die. A way to balance it could be to use the corpse of dead trap as new tiny platform, or make damage to traps each time they kill someone.
Otherwise the graphics and music was good. Some more SFX can help too (death, bump, etc..).

Really fun game! I did have a couple of glitches with the selection where I'd forget to clear what item I had, and it'd place it while I was trying to select a new item, or the button to go to the next level, but otherwise very solid, I'd totally love to see more polish and levels!
